I recently purchased a Specwar 762, it will be in ATF jail for a while before I get to play with it but I'm hoping to use it on pretty much every centerfire rifle I have. I was actually looking for some kind of quick detach/brake detach because I was going to be using this suppressor on several host with different thread pitches on the barrel. I look at those mounts as big, robust thread adapters more than anything. I also like the idea of having a replaceable brake, I'm hoping that it really mitigates blast baffle wear. As to buy a 223 specific suppressor or not, I'd go with a 30 caliber and have more use out of the purchase. Just my thoughts, took me along time to decide on which can to be as there are so many good options. This will be my first "rifle" suppressor, I do have experience with .22lr and several host shooting through a 45 tirant.
