What are you using for the beans Paul?
I bought a can of Heinz chili beans in Dryden a couple of years back.
I think it had seven beans, and a lot of water in the can.

2 cans (green labelled ??) organic red kidney beans & 1 can of Heinz chilli style beans.

(not) Chilli ! I know...I know... When I posted my recipe ( which has no beans) and labeled it " Proper Chili" it sure didn't take the bean counters and bean eaters long to pile on! I think we should discuss carrying hot vs. carrying cold next!

Y'all realize that my thread title was TIC, right?  I've made enough chili and almost=chili to know the difference and did not want to hurt feelers by calling the above pot of deliciousness..........chili!

In what may be the single most meaningful advancement in the beans-in-chili-debate's history, last year, the International Chili Society's World Chili Cook-Off included an additional division -- you guessed it -- chili with beans. Look, guys, the International Chili Society said so. So stop telling people that their beans are invalid.
