Very nice cherokee sn 1911. The rifle looks appears to have been used very little with a good bore. A few marks in the nipple area and a few very minor marks on the stock. Asking $350 shipped to your door. Please pm with questions or for more pictures.

NOT an inline fancy rifle, was made for patch and ball. Looked at the pict and saw the brown you may have been referring to.
Ran a few patches threw and no brown may have been dirt or dust?
Here are a couple more after the patch.

Morning bump, tried again to get better pictures of the muzzle area. The bore does show some brown which does not come off on a patch and strong rifling. One comment was it may have not been oiled after cleaning not sure as I have not shot it.

Gotta agree with Jon, looks like a bad case of rust, not oiling these bores after cleaning usually equals a rusty bore... might get a bore light or drop a piece of tin foil down in it and shine a light in it to see what it looks like farther down in there..

I will bring it to a gunsmith tomorrow for his opinion. Almost imposable to get a picture of the bore.

The bore cleaned up very nicely no more brown no pitting bright and shiny. The gunsmith says very good bore. Price back up to 350 shipped to your door. If no interest here I will have to move it to an auction.
Thanks Chris
