you must be using the tenderloin...? sounds interesting Package was just labeled "roast", not sure what it actually is. If its chewy, well, they'll just have to work a little harder. This is a pick of the last time I did it with pork and beef.

Beer cracked. House stinks of BBQ.
I should be calling dogs this morning but decided to dedicate the day to culinary delights.
And alcohol...

Gin and tonics to wash it down with.
Could you have one or two for me please, I am on antibiotics and not allowed even a lick of liquor. Gin and tonic with a squeeze of lime is my favourite

^^^^This will be, the be all, and end all, of the menu, my oldest is drooling just thinking about it. Other nibbles will be pork/beef sliders stuffed with a jalapeno/cheese combo, topped with a roasted garlic/sour cream/buttermilk sauce, avocado slices and crispy lettuce. Wings, tossed in your standard Franks'/butter sauce (because that is the way we like them). Ribs soaked and basted in a rosemary/thyme/apple butter marinade. Your standard double pepperoni, double cheese, green olive, pineapple pizza. Homemade chili. A green salad for the faint of heart. Assorted chips, veggies, and dips.

Actually, both the roasted garlic/sour cream/buttermilk sauce, and ribs soaked and basted in a rosemary/thyme/apple butter marinade, were created with you in mind. You see I am looking forward to cooking for you, and with you someday

Nothing fancy here. Baby Backs on the BGE, chile and beans, and shrimp served cold with sauce. Oh yeah, some good french bread. Plenty of good wine, beer and fine straight bourbon whiskey.

Had to run to Wegmans as I forgot sour cream yesterday, walked past the meat cooler and wings some how jumped in my basket, Still trying to be a little healthy today so I'll lightly coat in EVOO and season then bake in the oven. I'll have the real deal Franks and butter with black pepper and garlic powder for dipping on the side

I bet Wegmans was like lunch at the ant farm. The one in Sterling, VA on a day like today would be a madhouse!

Short of making your own those Rosarita's are the best refried beans made. Good choice! I have made my own before, using dry pintos, soaking, etc...didn't really like the resulting flavor. However, since then I've seen some methods using a can of pintos along with a simple preparation. I have a feeling this would work better.

Starters will be 3 fingers of Woody Reserve. The proletariat can drink whatever they want.
I've got a big pot of mallard duck gumbo with andouille and shrimp simmering. That, along with a nice French baguette will be the main. More appropriate adult beverages always.
We'll also have customary chicken wings (tossed with melted butter and Franks), warm soft pretzels, pizza bites, various chips, dips, and salsas for kids and grazing adults.
Dessert is my wife's giant soft chocolate chip cookies.
Who cares who wins when you're surrounded by good food and good peeps?!

yup---I spice them up with a little chopped garlic, onion and jalapenos. Rosarita products in general are great! http://www.rosarita.com/easy-mexican-recipes/mexican-entrees
