I can't imagine not being able to kill hogs with a smooth bore slug guns and Remington/Winchester/Federal slugs. I wouldn't hesitate for a second with that combo.

Not 20 gauge but some very interesting 12 gauge loadings. Apparently Dixie Slugs is back in business. Check out the Tri-Ball and Hard Cast Slugs: http://www.dixieslugs.com/products.htmlAt the very bottom is a .730" 870gr @ 1200fps that works in a cylinder bore.
