Right to work just means the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.....with unsafe working conditions and the best workers leaving for a union job.

Obviously a great improvement.

I'm not thinking that is correct, my understanding is they will still be covered under the bargaining agreement.

MM,

A good many employers in right to work states use the contract signed with the unions to govern their compensation and work rules for all employees.

My employer has a stipulation in their contract with the union that requires the union to represent non union employees who are subject to disciplinary action.

States with the fastest growing economies:

Eight out of those 10 are Right-to-Work states. Yep, it looks like the good employees are moving to the less backward states, along with the jobs.

Has nothing to do with right to work.

Read the article--most of them are prospering due to the oil and gas boom......and since that has crashed.....what will they do now?

It's funny that a unionista socialist has a Buck knife, produced in a Right-to-Work state like Idaho in his avatar pic. Ironic, what?

Ten fastest growing states, as of 2014:

http://www.cbsnews.com/media/top-10-fastest-growing-states/2/

Eight out of ten are right-to-work states.

Yep, the good employees are following the jobs and going to RTW states. Go figure.

I stand corrected in your case.

It seems your union sold you out.

Ten states with the slowest growing economies:

http://247wallst.com/special-report/2014/06/13/americas-slowest-growing-state-economies/4/

Six out of ten are union (nonRTW) states.

2013 data for the five worst economies:

http://money.cnn.com/gallery/news/economy/2013/06/12/slowest-growing-states/

The three worst were union states.

States with worst population growth?

http://townhall.com/columnists/mich...endence-on-government-n1780368/page/full

All of those state, coincidentally I'm sure, have a high dependence on .gov funding and...nearly all of them are union states. The worst are, in order:

WV, ME, VT, RI, MI, IL, OH, CT, PA, NH. Of those ten, only Michigan is a RTW state.

So is it possible that non dues paying workers at the same job are getting the same representation as the dues paying workers?

We're about to find out.

Before the recent oil-gas boom started, the numbers won't be much different for the RTW/union split. The union states have been losing jobs faster than pounds come off an Ethiopian with dysentery and it's been that way for decades.

You're trying to say those links show pros or cons to Unions?

Looks like states with the most sunshine and other such factors, current short term up ticks or down turns.

Give it a break Stretch.
