I mean don't get me wrong, I could see posting that on a Smith thread.

But some kind of Buck knife decorated by a drunk Indian? And that Smith? Here?

Probably also thinks 4 inches is HUGE. Dumb fuggin' Pollock.

I guess I'm just stuck in the past but I've never considered SS S&Ws "old". Some maybe collectible but "old"?

Just to get back sorta on track I'll throw up a pic when I get home tonite of a real peasant Blackhawk for Deflave. I have a dandy 357 that I gave $75 for, loose as a seaport hooker and pitted like an artillery range but it still shoots like crazy and doesn't mind rolling around in my floorboard. Trust me, it's bitchin.

Yeah, I got a laugh out of that, too.

As for "peasant" guns, I still have my first Bisley in 45 Colt, which I bought myself for my 45th birthday. It's pretty beat up, but it sure does fling lead (especially the heavy kinda pieces of lead) purty good...

Bought this at an auction for next to nothing, most of the finish was gone, no pitting though. Bead blasted, Cerakoted graphite black, replaced broken grips and now it's one of my favorites.

That looks great.

As promised the poor old peasant floorboard pistol. It shoots well enough that I don't dare mess with it, I've headshot grouse using button nose wadcutters in 38 cases. Only thing I did was trashcan the goofy Pachmyer presentation grips it came with. [Linked Image]

That was the first thing I thought but then I saw who posted it.
Ignore him,, he's just looking for attention.

Back on topic.
I'm not much of a hand gunner but even a slacker like myself should have a Single Six,,, Right.

Oh yea,,,,, I also have a "somewhat" collectable Smith. (1946 K22)

Thats the most attractive revolver I have ever seen.

I have an oddball Ruger Bisley 44 mag with a skinny 10.5" barrel and short ejector rod housing, never seen another one of those either.
