I believe that is Tom, from Indiana.

This little fella dropped in unannounced. He literally fell off the roof of the blind right onto my hand with a nice wet plop. You probably heard me squeal like a girl. I threw him off and he crawled around in front of me. I took his pic and then flung him out the window to fend for himself in the lake of water.

Some Aoudad Sheep paid me and Ingwe a visit on the last hunt. The little ones put on a hell of a show.

Well I got the next to last seat on my plane flight from San Antonio to Chicago and then on to Mpls. This made the trip back exciting since I had purchased the ticket 6 weeks ago and had checked in at the airport three hours before my flight time. The only reason I was able to board the over-sold plane was that United Airlines offered $100, the $300 and then $500 travel vouchers to those willing to surrender their tickets. Five people took them up on their offer.
Arriving in Minneapolis was also a surprise - I left the warmth (and rain) of Texas for 6 inches of falling snow in Minnesota.

Great to see so many guys having a fantastic time.

Like I posted earlier regarding Travis Tritt singing:

"I don't care what they say I've done, but I ain't never had too much fun."

You just can't get too much of it.

Looks like a great trip.

One question though. why didn't one of you wealthy nimrods just pay the trophy fee and shoot that ostrich? That bird was just asking for it.

+1 to that....

Gunner tries to hide superior brain power by being a redneck, you try to hide it by being quiet.

It didn't work for either one of you....

The nominal trophy fee on the stritch was $3k. I was tempted to offer them $1k on the last day, but finally talked myself out of it. I did wind wind up yelling at him, once, as he was edging closer to me.

Well you look up to the ostrich and he bites and would kick. Hell he got out on the rifle range while we were shooting. Had to stop and chase him off ( the guide did ) He/she was in a fighting mood.

I am guessing that this trip, a wonderful one with many thanks to Dan, will cost me a chunk of change on the Sheep River chasing Dall sheep with Carl (Ready)...
