I'm going to smile when our resident troll finally dies. Hopefully it will be a protracted affair with much pain involved. I'm quite sure the funeral will notable due to the lack of attendance by people who had any respect for the pathetic little worm.
Prayers for the officer to make a complete recovery. To survive Iraq only to fall in the hood would be terrible. Prayers for his family too.

So sorry to learn of this and wish there were something beyond prayers that would help. All LEOs - from the very best over to the maybe not so good - never know when some bad guy is going to come out firing on them. Deserving of our respect and support.

Roxbury was a snake pit back in 1972... I'm sure there has been no improvement..... Where is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? They should be apologizing for one of their flock shooting an officer, as they darn sure are real vocal when a white officer shoots one of their flock....

Tough bastard, that one. ************************************************* BOSTON (CBS) – The decorated Boston police officer who was shot in the face during a traffic stop has returned home. The Boston Police Department announced on Saturday that Officer John Moynihan was released from the hospital. Moynihan’s condition is described as “serious but improving” after he was shot in the face at point blank range on March 27 in Roxbury. Related: DA Releases Video Of Boston Police Officer Shot In Face “In the days after the shooting, John and his family have been strengthened, humbled and inspired by the outpouring of love and support they’ve received – not only from his closest friends and fellow officers – but also from concerned citizens and strangers from all over the country wishing him a full and speedy recovery,” Boston Police said. “Above all else, John would especially like to thank and acknowledge the officers on scene for the lightening quick reaction and response that he credits for saving his life.” Moynihan’s road to recovery is described as “challenging,” and Boston Police said he will continue to rehabilitate his injuries. On Friday Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley released video of the shooting. Read: Ed Davis Says Releasing Video Of Boston Officer Being Show Is ‘New Standard’ The video appears to show suspect Angelo West get out of his car as officers approach without their guns drawn. He then is seen shooting Moynihan at close range and running before officers eventually shoot and kill him. Conley’s office is continuing to investigate the shooting. Moynihan is a decorated officer and former Army Ranger who was honored for his role in saving the life of Transit Officer Dic Donohue, who was injured during a shootout with Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
