For those who don't know - in the gen3 Glocks the "SF" (short frame) version of the 20/21 is a little smaller (shorter front to rear), and all of the gen4 are the SF size, smaller than the standard gen3. The standard gen3 G20/21 frames are pretty big and blocky.
I like the SF and gen4 frames, but would not buy a gen2 or gen3 standard frame, they are just too big for me.

Thanks, that's good info to pass along. I knew about the SF but the Glock website is kind of ambiguous about exactly what it is.
I'm sure the fellow wanting this can handle a .45 pistol okay but my big concern was whether or not he had handled a Glock .45 since the grips have such a large circumference.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Don't think accuracy will be the problem but learning the trigger may prove to be a learning curve. Learning the trigger reset for better accuracy will help. Consider Sig and HK as well?

I have had a two 30's, a 20 a 21, personally never been impressed with the big glocks. 9mm Glocks, and 1911 45ACP's is where its at.

There are multiple videos on youtube of guys with glocks hitting tiny targets consistently at long distances. Hickok has proved many times that any glock (and most modern firearms) are more accurate than any of us will ever be.
I'm sure you can and could tell a difference if you set up sand bags at 25 yards, but why would you want to do that with a glock anyway? Sure, you may get 1" better groups at 25 yards with your Python or old S&W, but is there ever a real world scenario where that would matter? I don't think so.
I carry a glock because I know it will work every time and I know it will put the bullet where I aim it. If I miss, i know it's my fault.

i think you say it well. For years like many, i shoot for small groups. This is fine, but i think basically related to target shooting. I was messing with a couple of old vaquero's yesterday, and decided i needed to start practicing draw and fire techniques more. At ten yards or so, you don't really need sights to hit a man size target. I do know the highway patrol in the 70's was teaching us draw and fire close range tactics. If a pistola shoots two inches at 25yards or one inch it doesn't make much difference in real life. Function an reliability are much more important. Which is the reason i say i hate glocks, cause they have no soul. But carry one because they work all the time. as for the distance thing, i put a .357sig barsto barrel in a glock 23 a number of years ago. Flat shooting at distance, and even at 100yards you could pretty much hit what you were aiming at.
