I found this as a follow up.....................
Clark claimed the preacher text messaged his wife. Clark and two others were arrested, but only Clark still faces aggravated assault charges.
Clark publicly apologized to Nixon last week, and Nixon said he accepted the apology.
Now, Nixon has given two weeks notice to the church. He says no one asked him to resign.

A Jones County Grand Jury has refused to indict a man for beating an Ellisville preacher with an air hose.
Michael Clark admitted to attacking pastor Steve Nixon of Calvary Baptist Church in August after Clark's wife received a text message from the preacher.
Earlier this month, Nixon resigned from his church saying the drama and publicity surrounding the case has been too much for his family. District Attorney Tony Buckley said he talked to Nixon Tuesday night to see if he wanted to pursue charges, and Nixon said yes.
The case was presented to the grand jury today (Wednesday). According to Buckley, the jury came back with a no bill - meaning it refused to issue an indictment.

Is anyone able to resurrect that original thread or link to it on here? It would be worth a read and a good laugh again.

man, first I've heard of that, and thats right down the road from here. I guess after he " worked on him with an air hose" on one side the preacher turned the cheek for the other side
