just got a No. 1 Ruger in 45-70 with a NECG rear sight.

The elevation adjust is very easy with no clicks is this correct?
How is windage adjustment made. Thanks Elmer.

The off side clamp screw (the one without the coin slot) has an allen screw to secure it. Back out the allen, then adjust windage with the 2 clamp screws. BTW, it helps to hold a fingertip on the top of the elevation slide when tightening the aperture to lock. It can tilt otherwise.
