NECG peep sight questions for Ruger No. 1 #979005 08/24/06

OP elmer1007 Campfire Greenhorn E Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 95	just got a No. 1 Ruger in 45-70 with a NECG rear sight. The elevation adjust is very easy with no clicks is this correct? How is windage adjustment made. Thanks Elmer.

chesterpulley Campfire Regular C Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 545 AZ	The off side clamp screw (the one without the coin slot) has an allen screw to secure it. Back out the allen, then adjust windage with the 2 clamp screws. BTW, it helps to hold a fingertip on the top of the elevation slide when tightening the aperture to lock. It can tilt otherwise.
