A couple of years ago I had a taxidermist come down with brain cancer. A few months prior I had dropped off a turkey and a $400 deposit. I knew of the family and what they were going through (he was in his late 40s) so I never bothered to call him. 6 months before he passed away he called and asked me to come pickup the turkey and deposit since he would not be getting around to finishing the job. I did not expect this but that is the kind of guy he was.
I don't know all the details of this situation but either way if a customer wants his property (rifles) and money (deposit) back, they should be returned. Thanks for the warning.

I hear you, but I'd also like to think that if you can run a raffle for a rifle you can likely get things out to paid customers. But what do I know. https://www.facebook.com/CarolinaPrecisionRifles?fref=nfCarolina Precision Rifles April 14 at 6:57am · Tickets are available for the custom rifle giveaway $5 each. Remington 700 on a HS Precision stock, Super match stainless barrel, Calvin Elite Timney trigger. Your choice of .308,.30-06,7Rem mag, or .300 Rem mag. Call us for your ticket or come by United Loan and firearm on Broad st., Shooters on Washington Rd. or our shop. 803-648-3000 And offering a reloading class!

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to send them a ruger 22 hornet to be chambered to 22-K. Will rethink that now.

Depending on your local it may be illegal for CPR to ship you a loaner rifle without violating gun transfer laws. Depending on qualifications of John's brother you may not be getting the quality you paid for. I'd get someone on the phone and ask for my money and guns back.

I drive right by there about once a week, I'll check and see if the lights are on
I once visited a place where BBQ was a verb, Canadian whiskey was the norm and no sweet tea on the menu. Hell on earth for a Southern boy!!
