Just picked up my SAS Arbiter suppressor this week, and I'm super impressed. We've run about 70 rounds through it now, and haven't so much as put plugs in.

It got me wondering how other folks have 'hunting' rifles set-up for running suppressed? Here's how I'm running mine...

Tikka CTR 20" .260 Rem
Leupold 3-9x40 Mark AR, Mil-Dot, 1/2 MOA turrets
16bore Talleys
SAS Ti Arbiter
under 10lbs

Here's a little video from today (Ms'shooter at the helm). 300, 400, 500 yards... 10-15mph wind from 10:00. Turn it up or you won't even hear the rifle report....

Goal was to have a compact rifle of no more than about 39.5 ".

Compare it with a Savage 10 PC with 20.5" Barrel:

My two. Just posted this in the Hunting rifles section. Glad to see some interest in suppressors. Nice rifles.

Broke the trust in yesterday. Harvester should be in hand in 3 mos., plenty of time to get everything set up for Larimer Co. Fun in early October.

Also lucked into box of 100 Lapua brass at toy store. Now just need some 123 Scenars.

BTW, what is correct pronunciation of Scenar? Guy at store was saying SEE-nar. I figured it was SKEE-nar.

Dammit!

I've been saying See-nars. Like Say-ko's, I can learn the correct pronunciation, but it's always going to seem wrong in my head...

How 'bout a video of the rifle from the side when you fire it?

It's hard to believe, but the guys at Lapua don't say it right. It's pronounced See-nar. You'd think they could get it right.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Can we get an aerial view of the rifle when fired as well?

A right side oblique angle?

Maybe have Tanner stand down range and record?

Thanks a bunch.

Only if you and mini'flave will do the soundtrack giggles for me.....

But the Tanner down-range concept might have some legs. I can see it now: "hand me your beer, and hold this camera and steel plate...... I'll be right back". He's pretty savvy though, not sure he'd fall for it..... where's TAK when you need him?

I got CTR range testing to do. My dad is with me so maybe I can get him downrange this morning.

Wish me luck.

Good luck with Pa'flave....

Shouldn't need any luck with the CTR....

Like Fat Bastard said: "I've never had such tenancies toward a .308 before..... but if I did... it'd be on m'list".

Uber on...

Thanks. That's less than a .22.250! And it sounds about like a .22 rimfire.
