OK, I messed around too long and BlueNorther beat me to the BHPT, so it's a Quigley Cripple for me.

Thanks to HG for organizing the "first annual campfire fly swap"!

Everything works up here. Trout streams/rivers with no people and lots of trout.

I tend to use lots of big dries, cuzz there ain't a reason to go small and "match the hatch"

Was hoping a Goddard Caddis would make its way on the list. Love fishing them but hate tying them..

What size you guys want the Blonde Wulff? Was thinking 12 or 14

Been tying for 10 years and spinning hair still gives me fits. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't..

Ever tried using 'bou body hair for the spinning, then switching to deer for the collar? Seems to pack better for me. Also helped to slip a little tube over the eye of the hook and pack the hair back tight. Now if I could get the right shape when it comes time to trim it.......

I'm going to teach my kids to tie all the tough patterns and let them fill up my fly boxes

spinning used to drive me crazy, but after a decade tying bass bugs, use a body from a cheap retractable pen for the packing tube, and don't even mess with scissors for trimming. Single-edge razor blade... if you guys let me participate next year, after seeing the mess I might make of these quill wings, I'll pitch in on the hair project.

I hate spinning hair too, that's why I don't do it. I despise paying money for flies but I hate spinning hair more.

Look like I was too late for this one.

Since I will get to fish with HG's set, I will add a sz 16 humpy as a freebie for everyone!

Laughing

I am a lucky lucky man, but if I make any more comment I may end up a dead man.
