Old time saying...

When it was thundering and lightning, the old timers would say the "tater wagons" were rolling... smile

Sure hope the 5 o' clock news lady is out here tomorrow. I have a clean (almost) pair of overalls on for my news interview. And a reAlly good hat!

I have already scrolled down and looked at the picture, and I don't see how She could turn down an interview with someone as nattily dressed as you. Hope all goes well during the cleanup. miles

Looks like they got about 13" of rain at Blanco! Blanco River crested at a little over 40'. Shut down part of IH 35.

I awoke to a quiet, calm morning. Deer pan sausage cooking for a McMuffin.

Thanks Barry. Hopefully county will take care of their end of clean up. Watch out on your end! They said Blanco wa at historic crest! Higher than '29 flood!

Chinaberry trees grow up and fall over. It's what they do.

They also have a three-pronged fork that some use on the end of push poles.

Brother sent me some cool blanco river shots. The '98 flood was crazy but this one blows it. There is a massive cypress tree stuck on the RR 12 bridge. Crazy stuff.

Post a couple of those, if you can. Bet he's right...

You got rain there in AZ, Greg? Monsoons ought to be getting geared up before too long.

The storms that they've been promising for the last two days are finally here. Looks like strong T-storms the rest of today and also tomorrow.
