Sounds a lot like "Dequavion's" grandmother, when she said after his funeral (He had been killed by cops, in the midst of a carjacking) "he was a religious boy, never in trouble, and always wanting to help others". Self serving pronouncements are to be expected, in the wake of chit like this. Just saying.............

65 seems pretty young for a nom. Vet . Guy was born in 1950 was 18 in 1968 so not young at all falls right into the time frame.
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

65 seems pretty young for a nom. Vet . 65 would be born in 1950. That would be 18 in 1968. The war went into the 70s. It seems 65 would be the average age of a Viet Nan vet.

I've been saying this from the very beginning.
The cops screwed the pooch on this one and the lawsuits are gonna be HUGE.
Big bad bikers. A retired cop, a decorated vet and a grandma.
Profound stupidity at work in this massive clusterpuck. I wasn't aware all the evidence was in, sorted, turned to a grand jury etc.... They must be working this case really quickly. And never mind about who you keep for friends and associate with... used to be your parents watched that for you, evidently some adults might need watching over and lecturing about common sense etc....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

The information on this is out. It's obvious that it wasn't just a gathering of criminals.
There were a bunch of different clubs meeting for various reasons and many of the people there were just ordinary (as bikers go) folks with ordinary lives.
Since they were all wearing their colorful motorcycle jackets, it was impossible to tell criminal from good citizen.
Opening fire on those people was stupid, irresponsible, and.....we may well come to find as investigations continue......criminal.

It would be sort of like an average Friday night at half the shopping malls in America. You know, black gang night. So, anyway, a fight breaks out between two black gangs and the cops then show up and proceed to open fire on any black teenager wearing baggy pants. You know, about 90% of the people there on a Friday night.

Killing a banger in the eyes of a banger is expressly forbidden.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

The point is profiling, not rioting (which is irrelevant).
It's a big deal when black folks (even criminal black folks) get profiled.....
But somehow, the "shoot to kill" profiling of ordinary (mostly white and Hispanic) people in colorful motorcycle jackets is OK......somehow.....OK.
That's just one aspect of a case that will keep hundreds of lawyers busy for years and yield some huge cash settlements.

When people want to dress like a biker, hang like a biker, pretend to be hardass like a biker, and drink where bikers play, how can they be surprised when bad things happen? Sounds like this guy was collateral damage that his costume contributed to.

65 seems pretty young for a nom. Vet . Why would that be? anyone 65 now would have graduated high school in 1969 or so. Uncle sponsored senior class trips to S.E.A. until the mid 70s.

One of my good buddies (we were best men for each other's weddings) is about to turn 68, and spent a year there in '66-67.

I was 18 in '71. The draft board drew our birthdates out of the hat in a lottery. Low numbers got drafted.
