Hard to find any 9mm ammo in the Indy area, how about your area ? Has 9mm ammo become a commodity that's being hoarded ?
Yeah, about 4 months ago. Where you been?
No idea, I'm not an idiot and stocked up in the good times.

That said, I'm also not the best dressed guy at my church, so there is that.
Not that I have seen. I haven't looked for a while.

Crazy times we are living through.

This. Since the start of the COVID panic.

I have a couple of cases of range 9mm, and all the carry 9mm I need, though. Even still, my shooting of 9mm (or anything else, other than black powder) has been sharply curtailed since supplies dried up.

don't run a 9mm

40's for me.....have 6K + rds

don't get caught with your pants down !
Rush on ammo? Surely someone would have said something.

Sounds like you have your priorities in the right place! wink
I'v been using Fiocchi in my CZ. Went to buy some more online, and found zip. Just like during the RF crunch, I started checking around now and then and finally found some. Waited a bit, then it was gone. Found some more and didn't wait, ordered. Just Winny HB, but it'll go bang and let me practice.

Just like the RF crunch, online is your friend. Don't go without, don't pay scalpers' prices. In normal times, some dealers around here have decent bulk prices, but these ain't normal times.
nope, loaded 1500 rds in the last month
LOL
LGS had some commercial reloads and factory other brand ( "Grind Hard" ).
The GH was 18 bucks a box.
Got some to warm up my P30L

To be honest, I haven’t been looking. I’ve got what the media describes as an arsenal, or what the Campfire describes as “moderately well armed”! grin
I have had a LGS fellow tell me that reloading powder is getting scarce, and I was looking around Sportsmans Warehouse, I saw that some of the powder and brass is getting bought up.
I usually don’t worry too much except for rim fire, and both .22 LR and .22 WMRF are on the shelves around here. Matter of fact I picked up a couple of .22 mag for a friend in Oil City who said he couldn’t find it out there.

We have variety available: STV, Magtech, Geco, S&B, ZVS, PMC,.....the price is around .18 to .20 € per round of fmj. Usually when something is on special it will get sold out, but the rest will be on the shelves to buy. If you live in USA and need gun or ammo I would look for something in .45GAP, 9x18, .40S&W. The 9x19 would at this time be at the bottom of the shopping list.
Here's some,

That's because you [bleep] don't fight anyone.
Wonder how many other things have gone unnoticed?

Gone here too in the city, but I can get it up north at an out of the way hardware store. If some comes in locally it is gone in a day's time. .380, .40 and .45 is more available.
Good here on the primary consumables of 9, 45, and 5.56. Treat them like eggs, bread, and milk. Always buy it!

I did a 6k binge buy on 22 LR Mini-Mags a couple weeks ago for when I have to go into suppressed ninja tactics.

Need to upgrade to a Kevlar lined ninja outfit still...😎
Nobody worry. In about 7 years we can pick 9 ammo off dead UN soldiers President Harris sends to disarm us...
Some people bought 9MM reloading dies and 1000s of bullets a few years back. And primers and powder of course.

There was no UN troops and there will be none. Years ago when Bush Jr. made deal with Putin about armed conflicts some Russian paratroopers cane to US for mutual training. Americans wrongly assumed they were UN troops and made big deal about nothing.

He's a real wizard.
Shelves are mostly bare of all popular calibers in our greater area and been that way for 5-6 months.

About to time that toilet paper began getting scarce.
Correlation:
No one should ever take a scchitt without their pistolo nearby.

I'll bet you a dozen Kolaches that the women there have bigger dicks than the men.
Happened to luck into some at the home/farm store yesterday. Had limits of 250 rds/ caliber. Didn’t really need it but also I’m young and hope to have a long life so I picked up 250 of both 9 and 45acp. There was a 2 box limit(40 rds) of 223/5.56 but no limit on 308. Put another 500 of 308 back to feed the big ones. Reloading supply’s are defiantly dried up here.

What Trump said about Poles when he introduced Polish President was false. Listening to what he says is a waste of time. The Poles are among the most disliked nationalities in Europe. Your assessment of Poles is shared by most Europeans. Nobody will care if that country ceases to exist.
LGS were selling new guns with 20 round baggies of WWW @$1 a round... that was back in March.

Most of Europe has been destroyed by "diversity". Poland and Hungary are two countries who so far haven't allowed the globalists to flood them with "refugees".

Poland and Hungary doesn't care what the ruined countries of Europe think about them. So far their leadership has refused to sell out their people so they catch a lot of grief from the areas of Europe which are controlled by the Bolsheviks.
We love Americans, hint.

This is what the Polish think about "diversity".

He stepped into the world of politics as a conservative, gradually progressing into a liberal.

Mayor Adamowicz opposed all emanations of intolerance, including xenophobia and homophobia. He initiated the creation of the Council on Immigrants and Council on Equal Treatment in his city.

We received the news of Paweł Adamowicz’s passing with great sorrow and regret. Adamowicz, himself a mayor of Gdańsk, died on Monday (January 14th) at a local university hospital. It was in result of the injuries he suffered in a stabbing attack.

And that was that.

Sometimes he post his opinons on political schit here in the US and dont even realize he is giving his sockpuppet u.s. citizen schit away with some of the wording he uses.
Lot of times on political type threads the 24hr liberal Socialist Democrat sock puppet promenade/ parade shows up in conjunction with him.

Aint even worth responding to him.

Mexicans make very good ammo. I think they're the largest producer of .22lr ammo in the world. The .45ACP with rotating barrel made in Mexico City (similar to Savage patent) is legendary. Last sample I have seen went for almost $6000.

Go there...its "legendary"....
Those of us that have been through a shortage before are stocked up now. Those that aren't stocked up either are new to guns or didn't learn from before. My guess is when we get through this run on ammo and guns there will be another one in the future.

Bad guess. The Germans don't like Americans due to military occupation since 1945 and interference in business between Germany and Russia who are traditional allies. Now that American President insists they spend more on defense (like buying American-made weapons) they really don't like the situation.

You still upset about that AKSU 5,45 vs. 7,62. That's old history best to let go. Don't be like them Southerners still fighting a war they lost in 1850s. Was it 1860s? All I remember armistice was signed at Appomatox Courthouse.

Germany has been destroyed. England has been destroyed. France has been destroyed.

Why should anyone care what any of them think?

Qouted for posterity.

Hint.

The biggest bitch Frau Merkel has with Trump is that "occupation" and [bleep] canning it....NATO dues are about second on the list.
But Germany, as always, needs oil.

Ukraine or Putin?

Traditional allies my ass....
Germans have technology Russia has natural resources, a match made in heaven. Americans are trying to prevent completing of second pipeline under Baltic between Russia and Germany. Germans always had soft spot for Ukrainians (affectionately called "Little Russians").
Can I start a new thread about good guys leaving 24HC because of all the strife?

In his defense, I cant either, nor do I care about contraptions.
I aint gonna Google it either, because it dont matter.
I’d like Slobber to answer the question. It gets tiring of guys talking out of there asses and then can’t back it up. I don’t know the answer and have not googled it. Yet. Waiting to be informed by the weapons expert.
I have not clue what 8 cycles of operation are. Mass-produced semi-auto is just a tool to me. Talk about H&H, Anson & Deeley or Beasley actioned game gun and I'm all ears, eyes and fingers.
I did forget to mention in SKS topic that if someone wants good sample there is Yugoslavian one. It's a variant w/o granade launcher Model 59/60???. It's uncommon variant of which 14,000 or 16,000 units were made. It was very well put together with teak wood stock. It did not have chrome-line barrel which adds to barrel life and makes cleaning a little easier. Not a disadvantage with modern ammo imo.

Right here is a perfect fugging example of this moron sock puppet

No chrome lined barrel which adds to barrel life
and makes cleaning easier.

LMFAO!!!!

zippy picked up on a comment I made on that thread about SKS,s about a run of yugo,s in the early 70,s that did indeed have CL barrels
Highly desirable rifle to SKS guys.

All other yugo,s made for almost 5 decades did not have cl barrels
And shot corrosive primed yugo m67 ammo.

And he totally got it all backwards

Holy schit!!!

Ready.

Set.....

GO !!!!!!
Was in a Runnings Home, Farm, and Outdoor Center the other day and they were cleaned out of all common stuff, ( 9mm, 380, 38 Spl. .223, etc. ). Thankfully I don't need anything of that sort. After 8 years of the Obama administration and the passage of the NYS Safe Act in 2013 my son will probably inherit a lot of 9mm and 22LR ammo when I check out permanently or go to the nursing home. Don't know if I'll use it all up by then. Rifle rounds are no problem as I have enough components, primers & powder to go a loong time.
1 minute!!!!!!

So Slavek, which one of the three (or more) Slavek's are you. Shift change at your workplace?

I've been watching this poster for a while.

IMO, on the one hand he knows jack-s**t about the topic of firearms. On the other hand his knowledge of the English language fluctuates wildly, to the point where I estimate there are at least three different people posting under the "Slavek" handle.

So I'll guess he (or they) is being paid to plant horse manure on any given topic, and I have put him on ignore (probably like lots of folks here).

As to the reference to the Poles by another poster : we on the fire ought to be totally supportive of the Poles and Poland in general. They are handling things really well as a county, and a people, and know what side their bread is buttered on.

But IMO Slavek(s) comes across a dipscheid, so I doubt he is Polish. Just a composite eastern bloc troll.

Come on "Slavek" tell us what time it is in your home country of Transylvania.
Or are you too busy singing to a couple of americans who just wanted to use your fugging phone???

Who said you couldn't do both?
Well how bout this guy

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casimir_Pulaski

Or this guy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tadeusz_Ko%C5%9Bciuszko

Lots and lots of Poles have been an important part of the US. Im not Polish, but my wife is part Polish so I am a little aware on this topic.
Polish cyptologist had a prototype machine and had cracked some of the german codes prior to being invaded.
They made it to england and had alot to do with the brits cracking the enigma codes based on that prototype .

IIRC.
Hey " Slavek"

What time is it man???

You doing a 4:20 break or something????

LMFAO!!!

124 gr +P HST 50 rd LE box - Botach.
Pulaski sounds like the kind of guy that'd have plenty of 9mms stashed away, both loaded rounds and components.
I picked up 50 rounds @ 13.99 yesterday where is previously been told the limit was 100. Stopped at another place on my way home from the range and got my limit of 100 for $29.99.

Been keeping an eye on various online sources but no one has it. Glad they’re rationing or I’d have nada. Got my first 9mm just before lockdown so hadn’t had a chance to stockpile.

Any famously awesome Polish firearm designs? Cars? Airplanes?
The last time I was in Poland the food was amazing. It was the highlight of my trip.
The ammo shelves around here re: 9mm, 38 sp., .45ACP et al, resemble Mother Hubbard's cupboard...

In last 200+ years they had about 20 years of free independence from ca 1920 to September of 1939. To find something look into the 30s era. Americans are probably familiar with VIS 9x19 pistol made by FB Radom.

I came in from the culinary waste land of Germany and the Polish food was like your loving grandmother made it fresh for your birthday. It was epic!

A plate of salami and 3/4 of a bottle of wine is hard to beat. In France their table wine is like our $150 a bottle stuff. Most wine bars in Paris have this for about $11.00 US. After that I would agree to any advise. Good cheap buzz.
Just did an Inventory 600 rounds.

I went to sportsmans warehouse yesterday they only had 460 and 500 S&W ammo on the handgun ammo shelf.
