My doughtier works as a RN in a rehab facility. They take in survivors of Covid, she says it is not pretty. Granted they receive worst cases after survival, but young AND old and in between show up, a number don't make it long, age isn't much of a factor. One common thing she sees is obesity along with lung and heart problems. Think what you want, it is real.

Put into perspective, 1,000,000 deaths is about 1/3 of 1% of the U.S. population, so about 3 in 1,000. The odds of surviving are about 99.7%, which seem like pretty good odds to me.

Definitely not over here in southern Indiana. Brother tested positive Monday and has progressed to pneumonia. My dad (who has lung cancer) tested positive Wednesday. My mom and wife have both lost taste and smell and have numerous other symptoms so they appear to possibly have it. Thankfully we all voted early.

I had Rona, got it from my Dad, who was 85 and went to a gun show a week before. I had absolutely no symptoms and I'm 60. Have not been tested for antibodies, as Dad was one of the first fatalities of the fall wave we're getting in Montana (rural America).

We are on quarantine after doing a hike with my friend 8 days ago. My wife called as i was writing this and our test is not back yet. We were distanced, drove separately and on the trail. Bad thing was he was feeling like schittt for over a week and self diagnosed because he had Prevna 13 shot and another one, read the side effects and assumed. His kids are pissed at him for not always following protocols, he is overweight as I am and we are 68.It taught me not to assume.
One daughter is a nurse, the other a Physical Therapist and my son works at a PD as a dispatcher and they are drilling it into us several times a week to be vigilant. they all see at it at different levels and points of time.
I personally know at leave 15 people that have had it, all survived but one 92 year old died. Two had severe cased others mild, only one was hospitalized and rehab for almost 5 months, a 76 year old doctor client. Happy to be alive, will never practice again, too bad, brilliant man.

If yes, did those hospitals ramp up for all of the procedures that were put off March-August due to COVID where most hospitals had cut their staff [massively] and curtailed what were THEN non-life threatening procedures?
The above created a doubling effect due to a spike in COVID paired with the overwhelming need of many of these 'off put procedures' yet the MSM will tout it all as overwhelmed by COVID.

Out west a local Hospital has 219 beds, is full to capacity. Problem is 60 staff are off under quarantine, 30 have tested positive for COVID-19.

Hospital staff is trying to hire more traveling nurses, but none are available. The hospital has the capacity to increase the number of beds and the equipment

to treat the overload of patents. But can not find more staff to treat the patients. Prediction is that in one to two weeks it is going to get much worse. All other

kinds of treatment have stopped, or are being sent to other facilities.

I took $20 bucks into a Town Pump gas station yesterday in anaconda to fill up. No mask, I refuse to wear em. They refused my money because I didn't have a mask. I told them that it was their loss, and walked out. Went up the street and filled up there. If people want to wear masks, that is their prerogative. But don't tell me that I have to follow along. I can make my own decisions. Alot of people ought to try that.
