Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Monday criticized President Trump’s legal team over their chaotic press conference last week that failed to provide any evidence to back up their claims that the 2020 election was rigged.

“You call a gigantic press conference like that — one that lasts an hour — and you announce massive bombshells, then you better have some bombshells,” Limbaugh said during his show on Monday. “There better be something at that press conference other than what we got…I talked to so many people who were blown away by it, by the very nature of the press conference. They promised blockbuster stuff and then nothing happened, and that’s just, it’s not good.”

He added, “If you’re gonna do a press conference like that with the promise of blockbusters, then there has to be something more than what that press conference delivered.”

He also questioned the role of lawyer Sidney Powell, who was present at the press conference but has since cut ties with Trump’s legal team.

Though Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis said Powell is “not a member of the Trump legal team” or a personal lawyer to the president, Limbaugh argued it’s a “tough thing to deny she was ever part of it because they introduced her as part of it.”

“She was at that press conference last week,” he said.

During the press conference on Thursday, Giuliani claimed to have evidence of a “national conspiracy” to steal the election for President-elect Joe Biden, though he said he could not yet release any evidence as the judges presiding over the campaign’s lawsuit might object and because his witnesses might face retribution if their names became public. He said he had “at least ten” witnesses ready to describe instances of voter fraud, he couldn’t reveal them publicly because “they don’t want to be harassed.”

Heard rush talking about it today. He’s spot on, if you are going to have an hour long news conference you better produce the goods.. or something close to it..

Rush wasn’t wrong. I listened to the presser with the same take.

The travesty, is the complete unadulterated corruption and conspiracy that we watched between the dems, deep state, and propaganda wing over the past four years. No doubt there was cheating on Election Day and leading up to it but that’s going to be hard to prove on a mass scale and small potatoes compared to what built up to it. Even if Trump could prove it, with the whole deep state, RINO majority, and MSM working against him it won’t matter. Waiting for rule of law and facts to win out is like watching Charlie Brown try to kick the football.

We keep waiting for some election, president, or SC justice to save us. The left doesn’t care about being legally right, who we vote for or what we think. How many times did Trump enact an EO to stop illegal immigration ect. and a court with zero regard for the law stepped in and just said no.

I quit listening to Rush Limbaugh many, many years ago. Even before the Oxycontin revelation. I decided, what the heck, I would listen today. I heard a little bit about this, and then heard Rush start praising Trump because covid vaccines are coming.... Then I turned it back off.

That's pretty much as I see it too. This whole mess is going to be just like the "Hillary is going to jail" thing. We know she broke the law, and probably had the proof that she did, but the powers-to-be had no desire to do anything about it.

In order for the results of this election to be overturned, it will take far, far more evidence than what we have seen so far. Here's my spin.......the election of 2016 was supposed to result in the crowning of "Queen Hillary" as POTUS. It was supposed be given to her on a silver platter, after all wasn't she the smartest woman alive, the woman who had stood by her man, who had been cheated out of it in 2008 by Obama, and in turn, had cheated Bernie Sanders out of the nomination in 2016. It was supposed to be an easy win against that puzzy groping male chauvinist Donald Trump. But.............something went wrong in three key states, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, as they came up short in the vote there. Had they known that they needed those few thousand votes, the Democrat machine could have easily manufactured them. They did not make that same mistake in 2020.

The Democrats had four years to come up with a surefire way to beat Trump, and with the help of China and George Soros, they did. The Covid thing gave them the excuse they needed to flood the country with absentee ballots, which led to Biden winning. They didn't even have to worry about covering up their tracks because they know that no judge or court in this country is very likely to overturn this election.

Quite frankly, I expected Trump's team to be on top of what was likely to happen much better than they have shown. As a matter of fact, I believe they are just pizzing in the wind now, and will never have any firm evidence to show us. I hope I'm wrong about that, too.

Thank you, rockinbar. Ten months ago, Trump said that the Dems would try to steal the election. The Dems would cheat. So, you gotta fight fire with fire.

Remember the great scene in The Sting. Paul Newman is playing in a poker game with the Mafia guy from New York, on the train.

My personal take on all of this. The press conference (s) are used to keep us in the fight and somewhat informed. As each day goes by I find fewer places to hang my hat in hope this will get turned around. What I do know from my years as a LEO is, a strong case takes time to build and doing it in an abbreviated time frame is difficult at best. The other thing I learned is you present evidence when it will do the most good for your case and not before. Sometimes it has a way of disappearing. There are times I thought she said too much.
I think team Trump needed to distance themselves from Sydney because she is going to cross the isle when she starts throwing Chit bombs and Trump needs the RNC behind him when this is over.
I could be totally wrong, I've done that once or twice in my life.

Rush also talked about this yesterday. I think they're trying to separate themselves from her so that she doesn't get tied down by the administration. Hopefully she'll go rouge on their asses and make something happen. It's kind of like when Steve Bannon and Sabastian Gorka left because they could be more effective away from the administration. Why do people like Rush and others with huge egos think that they're entitled to lawsuit evidence before it is presented in court? The fake MSM would go as nuts with that information as they have with COVID-19.

The original poster copied an article that was a lie.

As I recall at that presser which included Powell, Giuiiani stated that this was an overview. I did NOT hear him state at this press conference there was going to be a complete disclosure of ALL of the evidence......Time is short and that is why Rush is making his opinions known...In a way he is right but then again he is also wrong......Certainly in this case, overwhelming and provable evidence must be gathered before going to the courts. So on one hand we have the shortness of time and yet on the other hand it takes time to gather up all of the provable evidence and prepare that evidence for the courts......It has only been 3 weeks since the election. 6 states are involved. This IS NOT Florida 2000. The legal process alone is much more massive to deal with than Florida....Bush v Gore was not even settled until mid Dec of 2000. Still another 3 weeks to go by the same standard of time as back in 2000.....So! We can only wait to see what exactly the full and complete evidence is....And as a reminder, Powell and Giuliani plus all of the other legal personnel involved, ARE NOT legally bound to disclose any evidence prior to any court proceedings. Will they? I sure hope so....Imo, this is a combined game of chicken, poker and some sand baggin going on here. We have to let the legal process play itself out.

And just because Trump has lost the 1st round or even 2nd rounds in the states does not mean the war is over. The GSA made its decision to approve the Biden transition based on Constitutional grounds. Ok fine. That is a completely separate issue. Let Joe and his team make whatever moves they wish. More appellate court hearings are to come and the SCOTUS as well. And maybe after that congress will have to get involved to choose the president.

And just because Michigan or any other state certifies their votes and declares Biden the winner? Well that simply means that the states are absolving themselves. Those state certifications DO NOT choose a POTUS. On Dec 14th, the board of electors meet in DC to vote. Whatever evidence Powell has assuming she has it, will certainly be disclosed before then.

Because extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence, that's why.

OK, so you want to present the REAL evidence in a lawsuit in court. I get that. So why have the press conference at all?

If you hold a press conference and say that Ted Cruz eats babies for breakfast every day, you'd better present some evidence for that allegation pretty damned quick.

I'm willing to wait for some real evidence in a lawsuit but I am not holding my breath. They've only got days.
