Last evening I was struggling to load a 225# anvil onto the tailgate of my pickup. I just needed a little extra oomph but when I gave it, it felt like my running gear let loose. Everything I have read says the bleeding should stop in 15-20 minutes but mine went on most of the night .
I thought things were good this morning but not so much. I am just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced what i am going through and were you able to get it to clot up.
Find a spot under a table in the dining room with some dust bunnies. Scoot around on your ass like a dog with worms.
If that don't work.................................................................there's this thing many towns have.....................it's called an emergency room.
They've seen an ass or two...................................yours won't scare them..............................much.
So if I get this right, you're bleeding out your ass for about 8 hrs+ and you still haven't gone to the Dr?????

All jokes aside.....thought I had hemorrhoid problems myself for last year or so . Finally went to doc, had colonoscopy and found out I had colon cancer. I had a colon resection done end of January and start chemo next week. Should be free and clear and good to go by mid May. You have blood in the rectum ....have it checked out!
Hemorrhoids were treated by cutting them out with a razor and then cauterizing them with a hot iron. Hippocrates’s book On Hemorrhoids says: “…burn so as to leave none of the hemorrhoids un-burnt, for you should burn them all up.”

A styptic pencil shoved up there should fix you right up.
Thats the old fashioned razor stop bleed that was popular before multiblade safety razors. I haven't shopped for it or looked lately but the styptic powder version is what I was thinking of. Baking soda has been used with some success with superficial cuts and abrasions too.
Dr. James Winer protocol upon request . It reduces inflammation, shrinks hemorrhoids quickly. It's available in any grocery store, but is not a medication. Sometimes bleeding stops after the inflammation goes back to normal.. pm for details.
Flush clean with water ... enema squeeze bulb or bottle. Apply pressure maybe with a clean washcloth lubed with antibiotic ointment or Preparation H. I've stayed in a Holiday Inn, but never a Holiday Inn Express. This advice worth what you paid for it. Good luck.

Around midnight I noticed the oozing had stopped, and it felt like things had scabbed over. I had finally settled on some Vicks VapoRub and King Arthur 12% bread flour worked into a manageable paste. The combination had a fiery yet soothing feel. This morning at breakfast I was able to sit through most of it so things are better.
I have been thinking about stopping at the minute clinic later this morning, but now that I have them on the run I'm not sure what they could do anyway.

Last night I was thinking that vics or tiger balm might help swelling. They both have mostly the same essential oils, but tiger balm is more potent, harder to find though. Glad that powder works. Anti-inflammatory......check "Clotting agent"......... check
Now is the next challenge. How to keep that leak from starting back up and how to recover from blood loss.

When you have to pull each one up individually to wipe and clean yourself, it’s time to do something.
For normal easy to find over the counter stuff styptic pencil / powder works best but many years ago as a teenager at the little neighborhood hot dog / hamburger / Italian roast beef restaurant I worked we used ordinary table sugar to help stop bleeding quick from cuts.
May I suggest that you try to come up with a different expletive.....

That powder is the old straight razor standard. It stings, but beats bleeding. I've found Cream of Tartar and baking soda helps when thats not available too.
