I sent an email to my senators over the AFT proposed pistol brace snafu - here is the response I received from that worthless POS John Tester.

Dear Sormin_Norman,

Thank you for contacting me about the regulation of firearms with stabilizing braces. I am a proud gun owner and defender of Montanans' Second Amendment right to bear arms.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) published a proposed rule called "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached 'Stabilizing Braces'." This rule would change how the ATF classifies and regulates some pistols with stabilizing braces.

We can keep our communities safe while also protecting the rights of law-abiding gun owners. That is why I have consistently voted against any type of database or registry of gun owners, and opposed legislation that would prevent an individual from purchasing or possessing firearms without meaningful due process. I have also opposed efforts to place excessive fees on small gun-smithing businesses.

As your Senator, I will continue to hold the ATF accountable and defend the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners. Should the ATF take any additional actions on pistol braces or if this issue comes before me in the U.S. Senate, I will keep your views in mind. Please do not hesitate to contact me again if I can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,

Jon Tester
United States Senator

My response to that fat fuggin POS

Two points John, you make a point the proposed ATF regulation will make us safer. Do you have one shred of evidence that the proposed regulation will make anyone safer? The answer is no because it doesn't exist because it's a lie.

The ATF is not constitutionally authorized to regulate our 2nd amendment rights, in fact with a legal constitutional change to the 2nd amendment what they are doing is a vagrant violation of all Montanans fundamental rights.

If you can't stand up for our basic constitutional rights, I would ask you to resign your position as my representative immediately.
I bet that's the send-all response to any ATF issues coming from his constituents.

You would be correct.
Bbbbbbut he was born here!!!

As said by every shît eating cûnt that voted for him
He is a fat, dumb, s.o.b., but bha supports him so..........lol
Tester is calls4cums niqqer.
Tester is the last actual real farmer in the Senate. He drives a tractor, his wife changes the tires. He drives around in a beat Ford truck with a Savage 99 hanging in the rack, also doing many things to keep public lands open to blue collar public hunters.

And you have some strange violation of your 2nd amendment if he doesn't vote for pistol braces? LMFAO.

Recognize a gift when you're given it. Jon Tester.

If he is a real farmer, it must be easy work, because that guy is on the fast track to a myocardial infarction......yuge......

Or it must pay well, cause he sure hasn't missed a meal lately.
He’s been a lying, socialist POS as long as I can remember! Being against the 2nd Amendment does not surprise me in the least!

This POS being continually re-elected tells me there are far too many leftest in my neighboring state! memtb

You can't be fücking serious.

What was his net worth before he started sucking dick in DC, and what is it now?

He's a poser. 100%

What a load. What do tractors and Sav 99s have to do with being a defender of 2A?

You do know that 2A has NOTHING to do with hunting don’t you?

What part of “shall not be infringed” do you not understand?

Missoula pole smoker.

He ain't the only one on here though that has posted support of that piece of shît in the past.
So, you apparently signed the letter with your 24Hr CF handle? Just like Varmintguy.
Has Tester come out and publicly stated that he supported the stabilizing brace legislation?

That eMail response reads like a boilerplate, canned response that doesn’t necessarily state he supports the bill.

No, but that's what you got of this discussion there isn't any hope for you ether.

Tester's voting record, his invisibility in non election years, and his net worth inflated by his undeniable penchant for sucking lobbyist còck render his response honestly irrelevant.

I wouldn't shît in his mouth if he were starving.

I take it back, I'd eat a bunch of huckleberries and then shït in his mouth. The tourons would love to scoop it out and make a milkshake from it after.
Maybe the only reason Jon Tester doesn't run for President (and probably win) is his wife doesn't want to move to D.C. or be comfortable as First Lady.
She is a square-jawed Montana woman, who prefers to pull February calves. We could use a lot more men and women like them in D.C.
Keep voting, folks. Surely you will elect someone who will protect your rights.

Tester has a sockpuppet here....
I've been critical of him since he took office and his 2nd amendment voting record is certainly less than impressive, but I am not convinced that eMail response is what many of you seem convinced it is. It is just a canned message that his aids may follow up on, with a more definitive answer.

I just read the meat and potatoes of that bill and it gets confusing fast, with a lot of subjectivity though I didn't read it entirely. I could see some situations where it would keep pistols classified as such and not "short barreled rifles" which seem to be demonized more than pistols lately. It also may or may not make other things easier to define or classify. It is a bad idea and should be none of the government's business regardless.
His photo campaign was looking for well worn work clothes.

Tester sock puppet or Tester deep state bot?

Sounds like something off his web site.
Disregard. No need to be that way...
The way Tester attacked and lied about Dr Ronny Jackson to be the head of the VA convinced me Tester is a POS. I'm ashamed his name is associated with Montana
OP doesn't even know John spells his name Jon. But he wants to be an influencer!

No, the whore in the senate named Jon Tester.
Well, at least it now (5 min. ago) looks like downhill sledding in the Senate for a couple years for Jon T.

As I remember it. The boys in Montana voted for the Democrat. Because they were afraid the republican was in favor of selling some of their free hunting government land. Never thinking the Democrat may take their guns. Never mind ever thing else they support. Hasbeen

Something a windbag like you should think about...there were a chitload of Trump voters that crossed the aisle to reelect Tester.

Burns was telling me how Tester was going to get thrown out last election by Maryland Matt. He was wrong then, just like I told him, and Tester will get reelected as long as he wants to continue. Trump loyalty and party loyalty only go so far when a Senator works for his constituents.

There's a reason those Trump voters reelected Tester, ponder what the reason could be, if you can.

It's not a fuucking popularity question, John. It's about right and wrong. I have the right to withdraw my consent from these crooked fuucks. All there is to it. You also could withdraw your consent. That is the only authority the government has: my consent.

Keep trying to kick the football, Charlie Brown. It's certainly gonna happen any day now.

Tester is done and he knows it.

BHA and the other Green Decoys used the red herring public ground issue.

That's been shut down as Daines election shows.

Hey dummy, Montana voted heavily for trump, how the absolute fugg did Tester win without a huge number crossing the aisle?

Election night he was losing.... and shazzam, the next morning he had enough votes to win... barely.... where have we seen this voting pattern before?

Testor won by a small margin of left leaning hunters scared the National Forest was up for sale.

You Green Decoys played a very smart game and won a Senate Seat that by my research was the most expensive on a per vote basis.

Well that is over and the last Govenor and Senate MT elections show 2ndA rights are back on the table and bullschiet selling Fed land is not an issue.

Live and learn, Buzzy.

Tester is done.

Tester “won” his last election after last minute ballot boxes were collected and counted in Missoula.

His breath smells like Obama’s cock.

Lmao.

I live here, and I can tell you why he gets the legitimate votes he gets and why he is still there. Not the same thing. wink

Now you start obfuscating.
I think Tester will retire at the end of his term. The writing is on the wall. I think a high percentage of transplants that have moved into the interior west the last couple years have fairly strong conservative values, and are voting that way. That's why they left the liberal cesspools. Montana's western congressional race was a case in point. Zinke won, even with liberal strongholds like missoula, butte, and Bozeman being liberal. I live out a ways, and two recent neighbors that moved in, one from Oregon, and one from California, are both conservatives and voted that way. I think Tester sees this and knows he will be be beat. As long as Montana puts up a strong conservative candidate.

I did learn and Daines ran on a heavy 2ndA platform at the end.

We can both agree he might not be the hardest working candidate.

You understand that without the Green Decoy vote Tester would have lost.

Green Decoy vote is gone.

Tester is gone.
Tester is toast.... the state is leaning hard right and people have figured out Tester is on the side of the swamp, thanks to his attack on Dr. Ronnie Jackson.
Tester is so far from a legitimate farmer that only a total dumbazz could think he's doing anything other than pandering for votes. His place is tiny. The income from it would amount to a net loss many years (prior to his election as a Senator, he had to go organic because he couldn't afford the inputs). He's a joke, and always has been. He failed as a teacher, he failed as a meat cutter, he failed as a farmer, and he has failed as a Senator. Absolutely none of that is to say that any politician is worth a shidt, because they're all dishonest scum. Jon is just a little extra dishonest. His $700k net worth (value of his whole inherited farming operation when elected) has somehow blossomed into what some estimate as over $6 million. Wonder how that happened...

We will see...I'd like to discuss further but spent all day helping my youngest nephew kill his first bull in Wyoming today. Was a long day but a good one watching him kill a bull at 90 yards with his 7-08...one perfect shot.

Put 5 more bulls to bed before dark and hopefully my oldest nephew can put his second bull tag in the last 2 years to good use.

I definitely like those odds...

Carry on...I'm hitting the rack.

Sickening, tester is a chuck puppet. Inevitably I promise he will campaign on how much he does for vets in 2026 and tell more lies on what a hearty Montana boy he is. DF’s like yourself have apparently taken the bait and will continue to vote for someone that votes lockstep with Schumer and his ilk. I’ll remind you he was on committee during the whole VA crisis. I would vote for anyone else than see that fat bastard vote party lines with todays democrats. Glad I nullified your vote for that troll monica.

"...vagrant violation..."

You meant flagrant violation.
Bunch of dumb sons a bitches.
If Tester does not run, it will be an interesting race.
Zinke or Rosendale are the two likeliest but neither are overwhelmingly popular.

2018 was more about Rosendale than it was about Tester.
The republicans require a candidate for a fed office to have ran a statewide race. Assuming the democrats have a similar rule… who does that leave?

Montana and WV are just the same. They vote for a republican president. Then they give him a Democrat Senator to help him get his agenda passed. What are you guys thinking. All democrats vote with either Nancy or Chuck 95 percent of the time. Take time to look at the democrat party platform. Hasbeen

I'm still a relatively recent transplant to Montana (four years now) and I live in one of the most liberal areas that's not called Missoula (in the heart of the university district in Bozeman). This is purely anecdotal, but Tester's voting record reinforces that anecdotal observations are often accurate.

I'm seeing quite a few houses with Tester yard signs up already, and they are always next to black lives matter and "In this house...." signs.

The hardcore Marxists here love Tester as much as they loved Obama and now love Biden. Guilt by association, perhaps. But they are his base and he does what his base wants.

The problem is that as much as I don't like Tester, when I try to contact my federal reps (Daines, Tester and Rosendale, and soon Zinke), the only one who ever responds is Tester's office. So I give him a point for being responsive, but getting a response when the (R) Senator's staff sits on its hands doesn't make up for the fact that his actions in office are supportive of the Marxist agenda.

I'd love to have a Senator like Cotton instead of Tester (or even Daines).

How did your run for office turn out? Guessing you must have won as most Montana districts rarely elect D's.

I enjoy your posts. But you need to look at the big picture. The agenda that our congress votes on is set by the party in power. You senator may not be great. But it’s important on who chairs the different committees.

Trust me, the last thing I'd do is vote (D) or not support an (R). I just wish we had more members of Congress who were as committed to conservatism as the (D)'s are committed to Marxism. Being middle of the road is not helping.

I enjoy your posts. But you need to look at the big picture. The agenda that our congress votes on is set by the party in power. You senator may not be great. But it’s important on who chairs the different committees.
It’s hard for a president like Trump to get anything done with a democrat congress. Hasbeen

Trust me, the last thing I'd do is vote (D) or not support an (R). I just wish we had more members of Congress who were as committed to conservatism as the (D)'s are committed to Marxism. Being middle of the road is not helping.

Yes, we have Cornyn , a real RINO. That being said he would be considered far right on either coast.

You should have know this long ago.Testor is a demcrap.

Maybe because a bunch of candy asses didn't vote for Walker because he was an imperfect candidate? Never mind Warnock being a Marxist, redistributionist, leftist sack of shit.

I knew Tester approx 20 years ago. He was new to running the farm, He was just another farmer that was trying to make a living.

He then ran for office. I talked to many of his neighbors and some of them were going to vote for him. Others said I am going to

stick with Burns, the republican who was in office. During several cycles since I have asked farmers from that area, who will win?

Many were sticking with Jon. But his base is Missoula, Bozeman, and Billings. ( the teachers union )

The last I knew his son in law was doing the farming but I could be out of touch.

The big problem to me is the people that are put up to run against Jon.
Anyone with an R.

That's who you vote for.

Jeebus,

that's gonna be a rough pill to swallow for some.

I mean, the R candidate might even celebrate Yule and have a bonfire and not a manger in their front yard. And their kid might have 2 moms. They might even have a Subaru or Prius parked in the driveway.

Put chains on my plow tractor (old Case 530). I know I have a slow leak around the valve stem on one tire, it was low so I filled her up. While I had the compressor running the other one looked a bit low, so I figured I'd add a little. The fugking air/water valve stem trinket that screws into the stem off the wheel wasn't working. So I loosened it and it went flying of to whofugkingknowsistan, and I got a face full of salt water. Fugk me. plugged the hole with a finger that kept getting rotated as I wasted my time digging through the snow looking for the fugking thing. Ended up letting her fly and jumped on and rolled it forward to have the stem on top (like any non-retard would do to fugking start with). Started calling around and nobody knew wtf I was talking about part wise till I called Les Schwab. Dude knew exactly what I was talking about and has a bunch in stock. Yay.

That's my little contribution.

And I wouldn't piss on Jon Tester if he was on fire. Fugk him, and fugk anyone that supports him.
I bet you were cussing after the nasty face douche!

Glad you didn't get any of that chit in your eyes.

I keep a couple of those valve stem trinkets in my tool box. Chloride is hard on 'em.

I might've cussed a bit. Full on blast in both my pretty blue peepers. Shît burns a bit lol.

Yeah, I thought I had a spare in the box on the tractor but damned if I could find it. Fugkin a I know where the next spare is goin.
Damn bruh, I don't even like to get that chit on my hands let alone in the eyes!
Hahahahahaha! @Gruff.

You NEVER....NEVER fugg with a tire valve stem unless you are prepared to dismount the tire.

Dear Storman_Norman

Thank you for contacting me regarding our second amendment right to bear arms.

This basic freedom—enshrined in the second amendment to the Constitution—is guaranteed to every American. The second amendment clearly states: the right “of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” As your representative in Congress and a proud gunowner, I will stand firm in defense of your second amendment rights and against the gun grabbing agenda of the left.

A slew of harmful legislation intent on taxing, regulating, and confiscating our firearms has been introduced in this Congress. I want you to know that I will always oppose laws and regulations that impose an undue burden on law abiding citizens who simply wish to exercise their second amendment rights.

This Congress, I have spoken out against several harmful regulations being put forth by President Biden’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). I have also cosponsored numerous pieces of important legislation to defend our gun rights, including H.R.38 – Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, H.R.993 – Second Amendment Preservation Act, and H.R.1534 – Protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Act.

I am proud that Montana has the highest rate of gun ownership in the United States. When it comes to our second amendment rights, I do not believe there is room for compromise. I want you to know that I will not support any bill that would infringe on these rights.

I appreciate you sharing your opinion with me. If you have any other questions on what I’m doing in Congress to fight for the Second Amendment, please call my office at (202) 225-3211.

Sincerely,

Matt Rosendale Signature.
Matthew Rosendale, Sr.

Member of Congress

I agree to a point.

Don't fuuck with a valve stem on a chloride tire in cold weather unless you have safety glasses and the spare parts on hand.

Totally burned you there BGG, sorry.

Seriously though, chit happens.

And winter time tire trouble sucks.

That said I really like wheel weights.

She is a square-jawed Montana woman, who prefers to pull February calves. We could use a lot more men and women like them in D.C.

Our country would be far better off with significantly less people like them in D.C. We all know ranchers, farmers, mechanics, ad infinitum who are "good ole boys" and we all know some that are complete and total a-holes. We all know some who are extreme liberals and or leftists. We all know some who are conservative. Being a rancher in D.C. does us no good if said rancher is a semi-socialist liberal who will tow the party line and vote the agenda that, in my opinion, runs counter to the best interests of this country and, unfortunately, often counter to the U.S. Constitution. Because he is a rancher from Montana he is somehow a blue dog Democrat or middle of the road Democrat? He sure doesn't vote that way.

This is (kind of) off subject but I know of a rancher from somewhere around Lame Deer (white guy and not on the Res) who is (or was at least) a huge Hillary supporter. He wasn't some big money hobby rancher that bought several thousand acres and hired locals to actually run it...He was supposedly born and raised there on that family owned ranch. It boggles my mind, but they are out there.

I also have crossed paths with some high dollar businessmen that also supported her. One was a big hunter and gun collector who owned a well known food company that we have all heard of that is worth millions and millions of dollars. I don't get it, but it is what it is...

My son in law is a techi geek, and several years ago we were heading to Big Timber for a goat hunt, he had an app that disclosed who was receiving ag subsidies and he called them out as we traveled... it was shall we say enlightening

It’s been my experience in MT that ranchers tend to be more conservative, farmers far and away more liberal. Subsidies and off time vs year round work.

That is interesting brother Gruff
Fubes, some people would call me a welfare rancher.

I say have at that easy money....lol

And without federal crop insurance some years we(the farm) would lose money on the grain side of things. The latest drought payment should cover operating expenses so break even just out your time spent. That and the mental anguish.....lol

But yeah, there are a few local farmers around here who try and plant a crop failure just to receive a payment.

I certainly know more farmers that are left leaning than ranchers, though they both can and do receive farm bill subsidies. Plenty of ranchers or feedlot owners also farm, and not just for cattle feed so it gets muddied, quickly.

An ultra conservative friend-who probably shouldn't be-farms right up to the road's edge leaving no cover for birds and still takes full advantage of farm bill subsidies, which the way I understand it isn't allowed, at least with the 2018 farm bill. He also has plenty of hired hands, a $20,000 roping horse and buys a new pickup/trailer every other year. He writes it all off as business expenses. Maybe legally, maybe not.

Point being, plenty hard core conservatives play the system just like liberals. Also, if it wasn't for those subsidies, we'd be paying a lot more of farmers' costs. I still find it hard to believe a loaf of bread is $5, for the good stuff. How the hell does that cover all the costs and overhead that goes into growing the wheat, processing it, packaging and delivering that loaf of bread? I couldn't imagine those subsidies aren't a big part of that so we all benefit from them, though only tax payers foot the bill.

Wow this thread has veered off course...

You do get after it which is why I consider you one of my "projects".

Good luck on the nephew bull and hope it will help your mood when Tester goes down.

As it turned out didn't need luck...2 bulls in 2 days. Both shot them with their 7-08's, both around 100 yards, both one shot each.

They do good work.
