I doubt he can beat DJT no matter how much money he spends..
But, he's definitely rising in the DNC party due to his spending.
Reckon the TV, radio stations and newspapers are happy?
Whatever you think of him, you cannot deny he's trying to buy the highest office. And it appears to be working at this point. He has gone from nothing to top rated contender in just a few hundred million...
We are seeing how far money will take you, but like Ghost said he hasn’t had to open his mouth much yet. Guy has the personality of a wet dish rag and is not in touch with normal people. I don’t see middle America liking him. Tonight should be interesting.
Rush talked about this yesterday. Basically he said that this is what he did to win mayor of NY for three terms. The difference is that NY is demographically mostly Democrat. It'll never work on the on the grand scale of the entire US. It might work to get the nomination, but not in the general election.
Hillary bought her nomination, just like 2016 the DNC is broke. Whoever can fund it gets the nod. Bernie got a lakehouse and a Audi supercar car last time. Just like Killary though Bloomturd is really unlikeable he cant even fake it, He will get the nomination , he just wont win.
Tonight he will get a chance to stand on his box and tell the people what his plan is. So far all I have heard is how he was fired and is now a billionaire, wants to take away my guns and outlaw the diet pepsi sitting on my desk..........and here I thought the Dems were against rich old white guys.

That box better be pretty tall for that mental midget

No doubt he has a media blitz going on. Constantly on the radio here. His adds don't say anything. They imply that he is some great healer that will unite everybody to sing Kum Ba Ya together. Unite around...gun control? Dietary restrictions? Socialized medicine? I don't think so.
I hope he gets savaged tonight but how the moderators treat him will be a big tell on whether he's the chosen one or not.
Bernie is drawing crowds, his people already feel screwed by the DNC from Hillary. If Bloomberg buys the nomination those people are going to set cities on fire.
I thought this was telling, they had the second in charge of the DNC on the show and she was begging people to vote for Bloomberg if he got the nomination saying there is no way they defeat Trump if Bernie people stay home in protest
Seems like that was foreshadowing for what she sees as an already determined outcome.
I am predicting after the country has the opportunity to see and listen to Michael Bloomberg tonight Mr. Bloomberg will follow the disaster of Michael Dukakis during the presidential debates of 1988 against Bush 41. Michael Dukakis was boring, emotionless with a scour expression with each question, after each debate Dukakis polling few a few points with the American people deciding they did not want to have to look at this guy for four years.
Too much in his past is going to come out and bite him in the butt. His narcissism doesn't allow that fact to register in his mind.
I just wonder how much of that matters. There was no shortage of stuff in Trump's past and frankly , he was the best option so no one cared. I think the difference here is the "people" want Bernie but Bloomberg is being pushed by the DNC who he probably bought and paid for, along with every other influential person that has a for sale sign up.
I really expect the other candidates to take him out at the knees and to go after the DNC for letting him on the stage tonight. But will the moderators allow it if the media fix is in for Bloomberg?
Isn't he just paying himself for his adds? They talk about how much money he is spending WTF? The Bloomberg Media Distribution is the leading provider of news, photos, videos, and data to publishers, broadcasters and other companies in more than 130 countries. This is from his own website.
I hope he gets savaged tonight but how the moderators treat him will be a big tell on whether he's the chosen one or not.

I would bet on Bernie running 3rd party if he gets screwed again, and he will. Mini-Mike is buying the nomination. He is also buying State houses and legislatures. He's the potential downfall of the America we knew. It's the nature of powerful sons of Israel to look down on us Goyim and use us to their ends. Since he knows so much more than we peasants, he has every right to DICTATE to us his superior agenda...GLOBALISM. Nation states are now obsolete. His culture comes from a tradition of having no nation or homeland, being an Askenazi. The world is his oyster; witness his VAST investments in China.
Bloomberg and Soros are point men for the Rothchilds, the family that controls 1/2 the entire world's money. They have to be stopped.
He's insulted at least 75% of the voting public, from going after gun owners, to insulting farmers, minorities, elderly people, working women, and poor people who like a Big Gulp now and then. He's got zero compatibility with the majority of America. He might buy the nomination, but I strongly doubt he'll win in the fall election, if he even makes it that far. I don't think there's ANY major voting bloc he hasn't pissed off.

Pretty much the same platform Beto ran on.
Most money ever spent on a senate campaign.
What is scary is how close he came to winning. Even in Texas.
Bloomberg has 20+ campaign offices open now in Texas.
I see a good chance it's Bloomberg-Trump in November. And he's the only one that scares me. Both are similar in some ways, business man, outsider, tossing his own money in to buck the party establishment. Bloomberg actually has the support of the party, due to fear of Sanders, not really because he's a good option.
Just as an aside, in a review with my financial advisor, his advice was to hold for now, things are great. Come November it Trump wins again, keep with the plan. If Sanders wins, we make some BIG changes, if Bloomberg wins, chances are the business man in him keeps the economy ok, so we may stay with the plan. Was an interesting view, basically the market won't panic with Bloomberg due to his background.
The other interesting thing I've noticed: Obama is in Bloomberg's ads. I assume that is with his permission, so he's taken Bloomberg over Biden.
We are seeing how far money will take you, but like Ghost said he hasn’t had to open his mouth much yet. Guy has the personality of a wet dish rag and is not in touch with normal people. I don’t see middle America liking him. Tonight should be interesting.
Hannity has been spending a lot of time the last few days going through his priceless verbal guffaws, not least of which is his trivializing the work of farmers.
Rural dems will have to pinch their nose real hard to vote for that douche.
May come down it through, since Creepy Feeler-Upper Uncle Joe is sucking hind wind.
Creepy Feeler-Upper Uncle Joe—-verses—-classy “grab them by the Pu**y
Nice
Creepy Joe and Always-Ready Teddy were the worst whore chasers ever to hit the Senate. They were notorious drunks and skirt chasers. His son learned from the master.
Frankly, he of any of the Democrats running, worries me most.
Yep, Bloomberg on a ticket with Gabbard or Klobuchar as running mate.
Folks dismissing the Democrat’s chances in November need to recall that Obama was voted in for a second term and that Hillary actually won the popular vote in 2020.
And it ain’t like the population demographics of this country are getting more Conservative as time goes on.
run half hearted campaign now to get some recognition then let bernie get the nod [ and take the fall ].
four years from now he will easily win potus. it is just the way politics has become. we will get a dem after trump..
Little Mike is 78 now... at 82-3 he will have missed his opportunity. If he truly wants to be president this is his last realistic chance.
Bernie, too .
Yep!
The snowflakes despise old people. Butt-gigs are the looming danger in 2024. They're convinced we shouldn't have guns and should be given free college, health care, internet,.. They have no qualms about giving up freedoms and personal responsibility for social media glut and Facebook fame. Work, industry, and innovation will dwindle, slowly at first, and then snowball as more parasites grow to voting age.
Everything is for sale. I'm worried he can buy enough support and voters go get the nomination. Toss a few million to the running mates, and they'll step aside, route their supporters his way, and retire. As to the election, it's too close to call and probably dependent on turn out.
Dimocraps buy their campaign wins all the time. Trump used his own money. Numbnuts' friends win by promising to give away our money.
Dumbasses like Numbnuts are too stupid to see that.
Perhaps it explains why they thought they could get away with cheating.... Someone send Calnum some chin wipes...
Speaking of nutting... I just saw that Bloomberg has the former mayor of Philadelphia (Nutter) running his campaign. I wonder if fmr. Mayor (D.C.) Marrion Berry(sp?) Is also on the payroll

this is what i think.....i don't see bloomberg as a big socialist.....he wants to take guns away....if the dem gun owners would not vote for him he would lose.....but owning guns and being a demorat is crazy anyway ....alot of repubs are against trump thats not going to help....
bloomberg has apologized and the dems will forgive him...he can win this....remember ....alot of people said obama didnt stand a chance.....bob
Well, somebody stated early on in this thread that he hadn't said much yet Bloomberg. That is. Well, he's been Clover the same now something like being a farmer. Only takes a lot of money not much brains. Or something to that effect. I don't have the exact quote in front of me far as I'm concerned the son of a b**** can burn in hell right in the middle of the street.
Mike Bloomberg's campaign is sounding the alarm that Bernie Sanders will soon amass an unsurmountable delegate lead if the Democratic field stays split — and took the extraordinary step of suggesting laggards should drop out.
What they're saying: Kevin Sheekey, Bloomberg's top strategist, said: "The fact is if the state of this race remains status quo — with Biden, Pete and Amy in the race on Super Tuesday — Bernie is likely to open up a delegate lead that seems nearly impossible to overcome."
"I don’t think many people understand the dire circumstances here."
Why it matters: Based on every national poll, plus steady access to money, Sanders is the indisputable — if underappreciated — frontrunner.
The Bloomberg campaign got high-profile validation of its theory:
David Plouffe, Barack Obama's 2008 campaign manager, tweeted in response to Nate Silver's delegate projections through Super Tuesday — which show Sanders with 41%, followed by Bloomberg and Joe Biden with 18% each. "If this happens, Sanders would have a pledged delegate lead he’ll never relinquish."
In a "State of the Race" memo to Bloomberg gurus Sheekey and Howard Wolfson, senior adviser Mitch Stewart and states director Dan Kanninen argue:
"If Biden, Buttigieg, and Klobuchar remain in the race despite having no path to appreciably collecting delegates on Super Tuesday (and beyond), they will propel Sanders to a seemingly insurmountable delegate lead by siphoning votes away from [Bloomberg]."
Yes he can buy it. There are millions of perverted baby murdering ignorant liberals in the United States that will vote for him if for no other reason then they hate Trump.
Boy, 2020 is going to be tough for you to swallow, just pretend it's jiizz you'll be OK.
What’s it liked to be owned by draft dodger, bone spurs, Tiny Hands?
Not to bad, what's it like to be a cuum guzzling TDS infected retard?
Wonder what other logins this buzzard has here. Acts like JellO with PMS. Love how these sock puppets show up one day and just jump into a new community like they've been there for years...because in some guise, they have been around for years.
As to the original question, probably not this year. If it was a lame duck election without much difference between the candidates, then I would say yes. For instance, if Bloomberg was running against a Romney etc... in 2024, I think the election could be bought. This year is a different situation. Bloomberg can spend billions on ads saying he will make the economy better. Trump can respond by spending millions saying "I've already done that and am continuing to expand on what has been working." If Bloomberg says he is going in a different direction with the economy to make it better, it's going to be a tough sell. It would be a bad idea to spend billions telling how he is going to take our guns and micro manage our lives. Trump has a record to run on, and it's a pretty good one. I think the democrat nominee will be either Sanders or Bloomberg. Don't have a feel one way or other. Super Tuesday will be telling. There are a lot of people who vote democrat who aren't really democrats. They are just too stupid to realize it. If Sanders gets the nomination, some of those voters will either vote Trump or stay home. They are at least smart enough to know that they aren't socialists/communists. If Bloomberg gets the nomination, some Bernie supporters will stay home. Doubt any of them will vote for Trump. The big unknown is how many democrats vote against Bernie; or how many pissed off Bernie supporters stay home. One thing is certain though- regardless of who gets the nomination, the democrat leadership will beg everyone to get behind the nominee. If all of the people who typically vote democrat support the nominee, it will likely be close.
We’ll know after Super Tuesday but I just don’t see it. I don’t think that a smarmy billionaire trying to buy his way in is appealing to anyone. He’s not offering anything profound, unless he comes across as super well-spoken and thoughtful during a debate I don’t see him even making a splash
Yeah Trump was a rich guy but he played by the rules and he was saying schitt nobody else was saying but what half the country was thinking. Totally different than Bloomberg
I am super crappy at predicting presidential elections, been wrong on every one since I started paying attention to them
I think Trump will win this time no matter who is the nominee against him. Economy is too good and it’s hard to beat an incumbent even an unpopular one. I hope I’m right. I’m at least due to be correct for once by the odds...
I doubt he can beat DJT no matter how much money he spends..

I'm told he's paying local "grass roots workers" $25,000 per MONTH to distribute campaign signs and text people, ect. So, the amount of money he's spending is incredible.
He's also promised to spend an insane amount to support whoever opposes Trump and let them use his 500 person staff.
If he gets the nomination or if he switches to a 3rd party, the Bernie folks will be livid.
As someone else noted, " Bloomie's trying to buy the nomination with his money. Bernie's trying to buy it with other people's."
On the other hand the party may try and help Bloomberg out. Bernie wants to take everyone’s money and split it with the plebs. They got caught corn-holing him last time and nobody gave a schitt. Most Democrats aren’t socialist and independents damn sure aren’t. A lot of them think “free school” is dumb because they know they’ll be paying For it
Buttjudge is gay. Good luck with the black and Hispanic vote. He won’t be the nominee and he can’t beat Trump
Biden is an old white pervert who’s inept and unpopular. South Carolina will show is if the blacks can salvage his campaign
Klobuchar seems like a reasonable candidate (as far as dems go) and is a non-witch female. Seems like they’d be trying to push her harder
Bloomberg is a smarmy billionaire. Maybe he’s bought off the DNC and gets it, who knows but that will piss off Bernie supporters a lot
I didn’t mention Warren because she’s done for and she’s a real big ho

Good summary. Biden was probably their best shot .
Someone here said Blumburg pledged to spend something like 0.5% of his net worth.. Not really high stakes... But not sure he is really a Democrap. Not a Conservative either... Maybe he should buy up Puerto Rico's debt and declare himself king of Puerto Rico? He can afford it and then Trump would be his boss..
He's going to go outside the box and team up with Kamala,or Abrhams to try and get the black folk to forgive the "stop and frisk" issue. I also am concerened he will try to tank the economy to take that nugget away from DT
Bloomberg is spending $417+Million to buy the nomination and he has no chance of winning the presidency. Money and media adoration can make a huge difference in winning elections. Trouble is he, like his party, is crazy and out of touch with the majority of people.
he managed to destroy Judge Roy Moore's chance of winning and get Doug Jones elected and therein lies the trouble for the country. The last midterms they managed to take the house. If they can keep it and take the senate they will run the country from the legislative and Trump's presidency will be neutered.

I am optimistic that there will be a low turnout for the dems, and I hope that translates into congressional seats.
Ya who would think a guy with no political experience and lots and lots of money could become president?
If a guy with no experience in anything but dope smoking and coke snorting can become president why not a successful businessman who subsequently saved the country from Hillary.
Bloomberg was on the debate stage for the first time, after the Democratic National Committee (DNC) abruptly dropped the requirement that candidates meet an individual donor threshold to qualify. Bloomberg donated $300,000 to the DNC shortly before joining the presidential race last year.
Rockinbbar: He can, of course, buy the demonrat nomination for President of the United States of American but he can NOT buy the Presidency of the United States of America - especially this year! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Absolutely. Given influx of current immigrants from Democratic point of view the future looks real bright.
Everyone that crosses the border is an "immigrant" to you dumbasses.
The reality is, they are illegal.
Send them the fug back.
I meant the ones arriving legally by "boatloads" from the developing countries. You can think of them as replacement working class that will eventually end up casting votes in the American political system.
Young people who have no sense of what it takes to make living still think everything needs to be free. There is big wave of young voters coming on strong. In Colorado Dems pushed thru that if a person is 17, but will be 18 by the Nove.election they can register to vote and vote in the primary. The DEms are hoping to get all that vote and they probably will. Next time Sanders is onTV, look at the people in back of him,you won't see every many older people. All kids.

After watching Bloomberg’s opening day disaster, it would be easy to write him out of the Dems script for the future of the party...
....but, the Dems need money, and his money is flowing, so, they will continue to take his cash and drag his step stool out for each debate, watching him crash and burn pretending it’s Ground Hogs Day the movie and laugh to themselves.
A very simple solution for us...Turn out, vote and again win the EC. We need 4 more years to lose Ginsberg and replace her, and the Obama Fed judges with real Constitutionalist bench sitters.
Judicial changes at the highest levels makes it hard to change State laws enacted by Leftist Liberals that insult the people and our Constitution.
After last nights performance, I think Warren knows she's done, she went full bore into Bloomberg and left Bernie alone. Next debate will be the tell. Bloomberg by all accounts got roasted last night, that should knock him down in the polls, he showed he can't do anything on a debatel. So if Warren goes after him again to drive it home, then she's in the Bernie camp, possibly looking for VP, or setting up for 2024
