Just as an aside, in a review with my financial advisor, his advice was to hold for now, things are great. Come November it Trump wins again, keep with the plan. If Sanders wins, we make some BIG changes, if Bloomberg wins, chances are the business man in him keeps the economy ok, so we may stay with the plan. Was an interesting view, basically the market won't panic with Bloomberg due to his background.

The other interesting thing I've noticed: Obama is in Bloomberg's ads. I assume that is with his permission, so he's taken Bloomberg over Biden.

this is what i think.....i don't see bloomberg as a big socialist.....he wants to take guns away....if the dem gun owners would not vote for him he would lose.....but owning guns and being a demorat is crazy anyway ....alot of repubs are against trump thats not going to help....

bloomberg has apologized and the dems will forgive him...he can win this....remember ....alot of people said obama didnt stand a chance.....bob

Well, somebody stated early on in this thread that he hadn't said much yet Bloomberg. That is. Well, he's been Clover the same now something like being a farmer. Only takes a lot of money not much brains. Or something to that effect. I don't have the exact quote in front of me far as I'm concerned the son of a b**** can burn in hell right in the middle of the street.

Mike Bloomberg's campaign is sounding the alarm that Bernie Sanders will soon amass an unsurmountable delegate lead if the Democratic field stays split — and took the extraordinary step of suggesting laggards should drop out.

What they're saying: Kevin Sheekey, Bloomberg's top strategist, said: "The fact is if the state of this race remains status quo — with Biden, Pete and Amy in the race on Super Tuesday — Bernie is likely to open up a delegate lead that seems nearly impossible to overcome."

"I don’t think many people understand the dire circumstances here."

Why it matters: Based on every national poll, plus steady access to money, Sanders is the indisputable — if underappreciated — frontrunner.

The Bloomberg campaign got high-profile validation of its theory:

David Plouffe, Barack Obama's 2008 campaign manager, tweeted in response to Nate Silver's delegate projections through Super Tuesday — which show Sanders with 41%, followed by Bloomberg and Joe Biden with 18% each.
"If this happens, Sanders would have a pledged delegate lead he’ll never relinquish."

In a "State of the Race" memo to Bloomberg gurus Sheekey and Howard Wolfson, senior adviser Mitch Stewart and states director Dan Kanninen argue:

"If Biden, Buttigieg, and Klobuchar remain in the race despite having no path to appreciably collecting delegates on Super Tuesday (and beyond), they will propel Sanders to a seemingly insurmountable delegate lead by siphoning votes away from [Bloomberg]."

Yes he can buy it. There are millions of perverted baby murdering ignorant liberals in the United States that will vote for him if for no other reason then they hate Trump.

Wonder what other logins this buzzard has here. Acts like JellO with PMS. Love how these sock puppets show up one day and just jump into a new community like they've been there for years...because in some guise, they have been around for years.

My random thoughts:

As to the original question, probably not this year. If it was a lame duck election without much difference between the candidates, then I would say yes. For instance, if Bloomberg was running against a Romney etc... in 2024, I think the election could be bought. This year is a different situation. Bloomberg can spend billions on ads saying he will make the economy better. Trump can respond by spending millions saying "I've already done that and am continuing to expand on what has been working." If Bloomberg says he is going in a different direction with the economy to make it better, it's going to be a tough sell. It would be a bad idea to spend billions telling how he is going to take our guns and micro manage our lives. Trump has a record to run on, and it's a pretty good one.
I think the democrat nominee will be either Sanders or Bloomberg. Don't have a feel one way or other. Super Tuesday will be telling. There are a lot of people who vote democrat who aren't really democrats. They are just too stupid to realize it. If Sanders gets the nomination, some of those voters will either vote Trump or stay home. They are at least smart enough to know that they aren't socialists/communists. If Bloomberg gets the nomination, some Bernie supporters will stay home. Doubt any of them will vote for Trump. The big unknown is how many democrats vote against Bernie; or how many pissed off Bernie supporters stay home. One thing is certain though- regardless of who gets the nomination, the democrat leadership will beg everyone to get behind the nominee. If all of the people who typically vote democrat support the nominee, it will likely be close.

He has never heard of such.

He doesnt need real facts, he has CNN fake facts.

He speaks truth. He could use some help. I think Trump and Giuliani are helping him out. smirk

We’ll know after Super Tuesday but I just don’t see it. I don’t think that a smarmy billionaire trying to buy his way in is appealing to anyone. He’s not offering anything profound, unless he comes across as super well-spoken and thoughtful during a debate I don’t see him even making a splash

Yeah Trump was a rich guy but he played by the rules and he was saying schitt nobody else was saying but what half the country was thinking. Totally different than Bloomberg

I am super crappy at predicting presidential elections, been wrong on every one since I started paying attention to them

I think Trump will win this time no matter who is the nominee against him. Economy is too good and it’s hard to beat an incumbent even an unpopular one. I hope I’m right. I’m at least due to be correct for once by the odds...
