I guess I am just bored but I keep pestering the VarmintWife to look in on our checking account online to see if the Gub'mint has sent us our $2,400.00 (two thousand four hundred dollars!) as yet. I have been seeing on the TV that they started sending them electronically last Friday April 10th, and they hope to be done with the electronic transfers on or just after April 15th (yeah right!). Anyway the VarmintWife just checked and no "monies" here yet. Anyone have the Gub'mint check in their accounts yet? I guess this is what the welfare and S.S.I. dependent people feel like while they are waiting on the "Big Eagle to schidt" for them. He-he. I am still leaning on buying "guns" with my monies - and maybe with the VarmintWifes money as well? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I think I checked Saturday when they had blabbed about how far ahead of schedule they were but had not been specific about dates-leading one to believe that some had already been paid. No government money as of then. Afterwards I read another article specifically saying they were starting to put money in deposits on Monday. I haven't checked again today yet.
I'd not count my chickens until they hatch. Maybe get a new fishing float tube or another rifle. Have a scope in the safe that needs to have a firearm put under it.
Liberal Socialist Democrats probably made that a stipulation......
Im paying this years above and beyond taxes I owe with it.
Be one of the last ta get it. E file minus bank info and send the coksukka,s a check every year. It will hit the mailbox someday, hopefully before the adjusted july 15 2019 IRS deadline......
Coksukka,s Cant win for losing Paying for fuggs who dont contribute a thing to this country who have the same right to vote, on welfare as a way of life and vote for the free for me party....
Lindell is a genius - takes a product that costs him about five bux, tops, including labor, and sells 'em for what, $50-70??? Talk about a profit margin.. But he does spend about $30/pillow to soak the airwaves with endless freakin' ads.....
Wife wanted one a few years ago.. I told her it was basically a pillowcase filled with foam rubber pieces and will NOT be that comfy... She bought it.. Tried it for a month. It's now gathering dust somewhere in the house..
JMHO, but those things are about as valuable as an ice-maker at the North Pole..

DeFlave: I like Mr. Lindell's products and have a bunch of his pillows around the house (six I think) and the VarmintWife is trying to get a "california king" sized mattress pad ordered - I think regular stuff (pillows) are selling but the item she wants is on hold or slow? I like the reformed druggie made good. He seems sincere nowadays. Good for him. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
I have a couple of Lindell's pillows and they work as advertised for me. The wife didn't like hers, so everyone has their own opinion, but he offers a good money back guarantee.
I've heard and seen him in many interviews, kind of like the guy and his story.
Renegade: I really like that line of yours: "Coksukka,s Cant win for losing Paying for fuggs who dont contribute a thing to this country who have the same right to vote, on welfare as a way of life and vote for the free for me party...."
My sentiments exactly - I begrudge NO legitimately disabled or "handicapped" American but I have first hand and dealt with the legions and hordes of welfare scum and S.S.I. collecting pimps, drug dealers and derelicts who abuse their systems and all the "supporting" systems/programs that they can scam! Fugg'em I say - its become a way of life for so many millions of Americans and one generation learns from the previous and passes their "skills" along to the next generation they are spawning! Sad and harmful to those who partake of it - believe me "I seen it". Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.: I will never forget the first time I was dispatched to take a "stolen welfare check" report from a double chubby welfare mammy! She was in a self perpetuating frenzy when I arrived (I think to convince me that someone had actually stolen it and her welfare bitch sister and she had not colluded to cash the Gub'mint check"!) and one of the the most memorable lines she belched out to me was- "where my welfare check, mutha-fuggah?" I was shocked and a bit and puzzled - was she referring to me or quirying where is my welfare check and then adding in feigned disgust "mutha-fuggah"? Don't matter no more - she is LONG gone I am sure and the billions and billions of dollars wasted every year since then may have caused MORE harm than any good they may have done! Sad.
Nope. I'd be happy just to get my unemployment issues cleared up. 3 weeks with no income is sucking.
Have you received your Campfire lecture yet?
When the government stopped paying people for a month we were all informed that, that's only a big deal if you're stupid.
So much wisdom here.
If my own earnings weren't extorted from me by the government and redistributed, allowing me to keep the fruit of my labor to invest/save for my own purposes, then the campfire lecturers would have a point, but since the government doesn't have their own money (except for the imaginary [bleep] they print up) and it's the government telling me that I can't work right now because of some overblown flu strain, the lecturers can shove their accusations of my acceptance of socialism programs up their collective azzes.

Couldn't agree more.
A bit pretentious to get preachy when one guy has a cash flow problem and others do not. Reveals their character IMO.
Stikshooter: Good for you! There is HOPE! It is absolutely NONE of my business but I am bored - so here goes - any ideas as to what direction you are going to spend your share? The reason I ask of everyone is that I hope no one on here is hurting enough to badly need the money the "Gub'mint" decided to disburse to "us". In other words I hope this is not just more "income equality" rationalized B.S. Either way good for you - I declare this Gub'mint program is NOW underway. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.: I now hear that "meat" is soon going to be in short supply! This a rumor/discussion I heard on TV (FOX Business News) this morning. Heads up.
I bought two a couple weeks ago, a firm and a medium. Got them on Amazon for 69 bucks for the pair.
I'd buy them again, they are fine.....
How firm is firm? I hate a hard pillow.
It's pretty firm, I use the medium more for sleeping, the firm one works well for back support when I sit up in bed to read or send you this message....
DeFlave: It has been brought to my attention (by the VarmintWife) that the pillows come in three sizes and we bought the "King" size and "Firm" styles. So I guess there is a softer option. I am a large framed person and the distance from my neck to my shoulder (the bed - as i sleep on my sides) is far - so the King fits me and firm is fine - i am NOT just saying this but I wake up way less often to fluff pillows to alleviate shoulder scrunch/pain with these new pillows - am not sure what they cost but we are supposed to get two free ones when the California King size mattress pad is delivered? The VarmintWife and I both really like these. Good luck. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Rooster7: Like I mentioned elsewhere I sleep on my side and the "FIRM" models we have are very pleasing to me - it does NOT scrunch down to a smaller and smaller "thickness" like the old fashioned pillows (feather pillows) did. In other words my neck never gets crooked downward at night while I am sleeping on my sides. I wish I knew of something to compare its firmness to - I just can't think of anything. Maybe someone else can - but they do have a money back guarantee - or you could give them to a relative or friend and they might enjoy them if you don't. Good luck if you try them. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
RMerta: Your room is ready and waiting and the Varmints are just starting to show. I talk big but the VarmintWife does indeed control the VarmintFunds! I am thrilled she gives me such a nice allowance per month. Yes that guest room has the My Pillow pillows - two of the four anyways. Don't you and Tyla come this month as the rhubarb is not up yet. Hope all is well out your way stay safe. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Hanco: Dang - It sucks to be so wealthy - I imagine? Come on up my way and I will let you shoot the Rifle I am going to buy with my check. It was 11 degrees here this morning at sunrise - is it warming up any down Texas way? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy P.S.: Maybe if you create an identity as an illegal alien (Mexican or Central American!) and dream up a social security number I bet it would take at least 3 years for the Gub'mint to become suspicious - nah just funnin with ya. I have found over time after watching them work (at times slowly!) you don't want to "mess with the I.R.S.!
Won’t be getting one. We will make through just fine. Live well below means.
Just sucks losing 40% of your work hours, yet having to be st work same amount of days. Then they deferred 10% of our pay that we will most likely never see again. All on top of being front line with multiple exposures every shift you work. That’s the kick in the nuts
Not sure how long ER and hospital volumes will be down, but people are gonna lose jobs here soon if it doesn’t increase.
Chase Bank has a notice up on their website saying that they expect the payments to start arriving on the 15th. I suppose some have gotten theirs early. I checked earlier to day, and saw the notice.
Need to get the narrative away from "Government check" which implies dependency and they need to start saying "We're giving your money back - you need it more" because it isn't the government's money but mine.
Get people used to that idea ALL the time. It's not a tax rebate/government check - it's a "we took too much of YOUR money" check.

What are you going to buy?
I had a little IRS experience once. I don’t want another. It’s 62 and sunny at 1:45 pm. It will be 90 plus soon. I have squash blooming and small tomatoes on the plants.
I get brown in the summer. Sometimes the Meskins speak Spanish to me. Wifey started calling me Pancho because of that. Maybe I could claim to be an illegal.

What does that have to do with calling it what it is or should be called? Execution of the program is different than the title of the program.
Beaver doesn’t meet the requirement for our uncle’s money.
The State of Oregon Florida sure likes my money when it comes to supporting kids, schools, and the woefully perpetually and forever terminally unemployed.
Something about healthy kids make for a happy community or some such BS.
Bunch of Nazi racist running our State government.
Whaaah 😝😎
Didn't have to change much to make it a Florida story.

It was funny around here. They would line up at the local food stamp office for their cheese, and after they got it, they would walk around behind the office and sell it for cash or trade it for cigarettes.
The line behind the building to sell the cheese was as long as the line in front of the building to get it.
Hanco: One of the members on here is "teasing" me with a Remington 700 VSF Varmint Rifle in 223 Remington - and I have a lead on a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 over east. I did buy the coolest little pistol last Saturday - it is a mint unfired in the box, with paper-work, blued Ruger MK-II with 6" sporter barrel - got it for a pittance on consignment from my local pawn/sport shop at $225.00 (no sales tax)! I could NOT get the money out of my pocket fast enough. As I was getting the money out of my pocket the counterman told me the box for the Ruger I was buying was from the wrong Ruger pistol and the original box had been sold with another pistol that the original estate/owner had also sold through that shop. So I will be working on getting the "correct box" for that nifty little Ruger. That will keep me busy for an afternoon or two I am sure. I am again on the "try to buy in private sales" kick when buying guns. I am a bit paranoid that "the hildabeast" or earache holder will get back in power somehow. For the first 50 years of my life I did not fear or distrust my government at all - these last 23 years though I am a bit skeptical if not "paranoid" and the last 12 years I have went out of my way to keep my sales "private" whenever possible. Aaahh... it is up to 27 degrees here this afternoon and no wind - I am going shooting. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Auk1124: Your story reminds me of the welfare cheat I scared the "cheese" out of here in Montana! I was headed up to Butte, Montana to peruse the pawn and sport shops one day several years ago. I had just gotten off of the freeway and was passing a Safeway store when I see this little old bum type man trundling out of the Safeway store with a couple of large heavy shopping bags - one in each hand. He was walking the way I was going as I stopped at a sport shop. Then in a few minutes I headed for the next nearby pawn shop. I walk in and low and behold no one is at the gun counter and I walk around a bit - there in the open office area of the pawn shop is the little old man bum and his shopping bags are up on the desk and the shop owner lady was going through the "steaks" that said bum had "purchased' at the Safeway 10 blocks back! She was actually using a calculator to divie up his meats worth - her words "how about $80.00 that is just more than half their cost - how does that suit you" I was close enough to see and hear this and I approached the two cretins and in my harshest tone/voice I said "that does not suit me at all"! The look on that bitches face was of stunned shock and silence - it was priceless! The bum was lit and hardly moved - but his eyes got real big. I turned and walked out. I am sure I spoiled that one illegal use of "food stamps"! At least I hope I did. Sad. New owners now at that pawn shop now. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I guess I'm lost on the idea of someone getting a tax stimulus check while others don't and saying we took too much of YOUR money. I agree with taking too much
but the distribution back part means its not MY money, its now someone elses. YOUR money becomes relative to who gets something back
assuming we all agree they aren't just printing money

One year we got $100 back pretty proud of ourselves. Most people don’t understand the goal during taxes is to get as close to zero as possible.
I check my account on line every half hour or so and keep getting this message; " Personal Online and Mobile Banking is Currently Unavailable" along with something that says they are working to resolve the issue, and their apologies and other options if you need assistance. I bet that their system is overloaded with folks like me trying to get on their site to check their account. No big deal. Maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow.
It won't be there. Checks right now are Direct Deposit.
Yep. USPS Mail outs could be as late as August.
What is this 19 ph ucking 80???
Close to it.
That’s what our local rag said. Mail outs get the lowest priority.
Mail outs are/will be also affected for those on unemployment who would normally receive the 600$/week federal kicker in addition to their present unemployment checks.

Damn, George Jetson. I'm still making my mark on papers with a goose feather.
No check yet, and I just checked my bank account. Nothing has been deposited. When are we supposed to get them?
Anywhere from "any time" (for those who are low income/getting the full amount) to September (for those just getting a couple hundred bucks)
No, Fox (I think it was Fox) had an article on it a few days ago. It generally goes from the most needy to the least needy. The final rounds of checks that are the very low payouts are out past summer timeframe.
I'm just paraphrasing what the article said, no more, no less.

Every year our old taxman sets up estimates and every year I ignore paying them. It's turned into a joke and he always gives me grief.
This we year we had to pay in another $6500 on top of what is deducted from our yearly wages.
But we poor so we getting back $2400 for the Corona!!!!!!
AKduck: Good for you. I think, tomorrow, "my ship" (the Big Eagle!) is gonna come in - and not a gunshow for as far as the eye can see. Shoot. I had to go get a prescription for the VarmintWife this afternoon and they were doing "curb service"! I use to get free Government schit on the rez down in Polson MT.
There was this legit pot/coke dealer where we use to score our brown bud. After a few trips to the guys place he'd get to trusting you and turn you on to his basement grocery store.
It was all shelved out and stacked to the ceiling with food, it was 10 bucks a bag, ya had to bring your own bags. The plastic ones weren't around then, so it was brown paper sacks.
There was cooking instruction on every can, open can, pour in pot, put on burner, feeds 4.
It was a pretty good deal, the food was great...that's the last sorta free schit I ever got from the government...
Dumbduck already said he is going to buy a steak and a bottle of champagne...... to celebrate. support local business
Henry's, on 4th St in Loveland. Best Calamari in town, too!
Enjoy your government cheese...... us out in the real world will earn ours
I don't even know what that means. I didn't ask for the couple bucks I am getting back, and I am putting it right back into my local economy.
What are you doing with yours? I sincerely hope the answer is, "I am getting none" because that would mean a) you have been a highly successful SMB owner, and b) since you are taking no salary right now, you don't need that salary.

I think its really great that we are going to be given the opportunity to give all this money to China.
Sure..Jeff Bezos and the Walton family are gonna get it first.....but then off to Red China it goes.
China is not gonna pay for this disaster.......they are gonna get paid!
Chinamart and mail order Chinamart are going to make a killing. Nike is going to have to make their sweat shops work overtime. This is a win for China.

I am not sure this will be true going forward... the public is turning against China, Trump will continue to hammer them with sanctions. The world I believe will move away from China. Trump will mandate certain critical things will be required to be manufactured here in the future.
The poison dog food and drywall was easy to paste over, the "covid" not so much
I make no sense to you because you cannot possibly comprehend what an entrepreneur goes through to survive.... in spite of the government. A clue..... without the private sector your job would not exist.... As far as me insulting you, it started with you touting the "covid" sky is falling , do as you are told or you will be responsible for granny's death nonsense... I have noticed you have abandoned that horse.
Dumbazz. My job *IS* private sector. I don't work for gov't and I don't work for a publicly traded company. We are privately held. 300 employees, $900 million a year in top line rev. Profit share and bonuses. I am fully engaged.
You keep making accusations and insults, but yet I STILL assume the best in you and choose to believe you are a great SMB business owner.
So..................... you insult me for using my little stimulus to support SMB locally.
And all I have asked since is, what are you doing with yours?

I have no clue if I am getting a check... frankly don't want one. If they send it to me I will save it. As I am with all the cash I can in order to survive what may come next.... no bail outs for main st. And I feel an obligation to pay my employees....
Oh and as far as your company being private sector.... yes, but where does the money come from? the government, without the 911 contract you would not exist.
Also I hear calling 911 is a good way to order pizza.... LMAO

You can bet China is rubbing Buddha’s belly for good luck that Trump won’t survive this crisis on Nov. 3rd, knowing if he see’s another 4 years. He’ll make it as difficult as possible for them to increase their power play on the US.
Oh and as far as your company being private sector.... yes, but where does the money come from? the government, without the 911 contract you would not exist.
You are boxing way over your weight class.
Notice I talk a lot about Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and the like?
I am a 911 Systems Architect who works with NON-MANDATED fortune 100 companies to provide 911 and public safety solutions to their customers, as a matter of market differentiation.
They have no regulatory obligation to provide 911. It is a cost center for them.
But you know nothing about 911, so why would you pass judgement on my career when all I do is assume you are a decent SMB owner?
I am sensing a pattern.

Have you been to Walmart, the chit is mostly made in China, the food is imported from South America. Almost nothing in that place is made or grown in the USA. Amazon is just as bad. That and other China re-sellers makes up the bulk of consumer goods in the US. Sad times for sure.
For the record I don’t shop at Walmart, and I buy or harvest my meat locally. It’s almost impossible to avoid China made stuff anymore.

Understood Norm, I don't shop at Walmart, but unfortunatly most of the stuff I buy is made in China as you say impossible to avoid, for now. I have made several very large purchases in the last year and am happy to report all made in America... oh and one made in Canada, I like Canucks....

Again, boxing above your weight class. Quick lesson, since you have ZERO clue how this works:
How about, 911.... 101!
911 is federally mandated.
T-Mobile/Sprint (they just merged), Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, and any other provider are obligated to provide 911 service to you, their end user. Even VOIP guys like Vonage, Ooma, etc.
They don't want to house the expertise of managing it themselves, so they outsource it to vendors like my company, private companies, who provide turn-key solutions to meet regulatory obligations.
But also IoT, ITS, and other companies like Google, Amazon, and the like who want to provide market differentiation.
Please. You really have NO IDEA what you are talking about and you are looking silly...
Seriously.... You idiots have NO CLUE how the 911 industry works, why would you challenge me on THAT?
FFS, just say my BGE pizza looked like azz, you'd have better 24HCF cred.

I thought I answered your question?
I will answer again, I will save the check as I will all the cash I can in order to survive as a business and pay my employee's , it's what we do in the real world.
As far as disclosing my business, I only do that to friends or people I trust via P.M. I shouldn't have to explain why.
As far as me being a troll, you don't understand what that is.... I do try my hand at it now and again for fun, but I suck at it and most see right through it and won't take the bait.....

I will speak slowly and clearly so you can understand:
Does YOUR job require following federal regulations to meet your customers needs?
Regulatory, environmentally, etc?
Thought so.
Don't be obtuse to the point of being stupid to make a point that can't be made.
The main point, is that you've posted so much conflicting bullshit bout what you claim ta do, that you got no business complainin about another fire member havin ta guess at what you actually do.
The other point, is that you *don't* "design and build the nation's 911 systems", by your own admission.

This will be fun!
OK,
When you're runnin the trencher, whilst layin the 911 cable, that saves the lives of US Marines that are otherwise defenseless, and come to a underground utility pipe, how many supervisors did you need to call?

He wants to impress somebody . I’m fu.cking impressed. Although I’ve never dialed 911 in my life.
Naaa. Not out to impress anyone. But it's a curious industry. We hope no one has to use our tech but if they do we take pride in what we've done.
There are so many federal regulations that working in an industry that follows them isn’t that special. For example, aviation has to follow federal regulations. You’re probably “ok” smart. What are you trying to prove? 😁

You just proved my point. I was being attacked for being some government dole employee, which isn't the case.
In fact, I work for a highly successful private company that helps successful companies meet public safety obligations.
Would you disparage an airline employee that ensures the safety of an aircraft engine?

Huh, a private airline? how does that compare to a government funded program?
So are the government workers so inept they have to hire private companies to interpret government regulations? WTF

In aviation, they do ;Particularly in the design of commercial and small municipality airports.

Hanco: Dieyamm.... I am suckin hind tit on this gub'mint hand-out. Good for your son. Aaahhh well...... I went to my local pawn/gunshop this morning and nothing much new in there anyways. Just got mine when my cell phone dinged and I looked to see a text informing me that $1,200.00 was just deposited on the debit card on which I received my tax refund this year, on which I still had a few hundred dollars from the refund left, now totaling $1,575.00. So that puts a smile on my face.
I had found a pistol that I wanted to buy but the guy already sold it so I figured I'd get an estimate to fix the rear bumper and brackets on my truck that someone hit me and bent so that my tailgate rubs on the lower drivers side edges when it's opened (no they didn't leave a note and I have no idea when it happened). Took it to the local dealer today and what do you know, $1203 bucks lol. Told them go ahead and order the parts. Easy come easy go...
