I know it sounds hokey to some. But it’s a big deal many places. I think it instills a bit more to the hunter than just shooting an animal. Least this is what it means to me.

Not hokey at all - if I may adopt this I’d like to. My 9 year old is just getting started hunting and this is the message that will remind not only her but myself as well about properly honoring a life.
