Controlled humor,to save someone else the trouble.

You couldn't run fast enough,to catch me,to GIVE me another set.

The only thing I did wrong, was not to take a Burris scope out, with 'em..................

Just wonderin' how a set of Talleys would fare in the same test..................

I have now come to the conclusion when I'm out in the field I'm not placing my Zeiss and Optilocks inside a vice and turning it, or beating it with a hammer.

Glad I read that before it was to late... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

If I ever had a set of Leupold mounts, I'd do the same to them before I ever mounted 'em then use 'em for paperweights.

Talley fixed and Conetrols ease my mind.

I have a set of Opti-Loks my Sako 75 .300 Win Mag - never had any problems with them. If you mount them properly and don't change scopes very often - they as tough as the next!!

They are overpriced, weigh too much, and sit a little high, but they do fit and work nice on Sako rifles.

The Leupold mounts for the Sako suck - my opinion.

Good luck with your choice.

I've too many miles on DD's,MK4's and PRW's to discount their viability........................

Will grant viability; not beauty.

Other more svelte options beckon.

Same results with beauty always preferred.

You rather have a job by an ugly woman or a pretty one? Same end results with more beautification along the way.

Besides, ugly goes to the bone.

DD's are svelte,less protrusion,they are beyond stalwart.

PRW's,boast same, yet offer twice as many cap fasteners and more surface area, none of which is a concession.

The MK4's have the 1/2" protrusion,to affix a 1913 rail, for swapaloo's. I've no qualm with them,in that role, nor do I Badger or the rest of the ilk. I still hold badger,in the highest of 1913 esteem.

Would like to see all take offset eccentrics, ala PosiLign,as well as the LW's in a lower height in both 1" and 30mm,also digesting eccentrics.

Have never failed any of those mounting systems and I've a pretty good smattering of each and non are pristine................

Will send you all my takeoffs in the future, then, as I need no more paperweights.

Had I known the depth of your love for such, I would have kept the ones from a recent KS purchase rather than leaving them on the table.

Conetrols are on the menu as replacements..............my mind is as ease as my eyes behold the smooth and projection-less lines.

Never could like 'em and I'm dubious of the Gentry UL's.

Tally LW's nip both,nicely......................

Tightest grip of any rings, flat ass, period, no BS, (pun intended).

Talley LW's are fine equipment but still ugly & cheap looking & too closely resemble Weavers; much prefer the Talley fixed though heavier.

Am not fond of or a user of the Gentry's.
