I've decided to keep my "Core Four" model 70s (.280 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Wby, .338 Win Mag, all bedded into Hill Country Rifles Bridges stocks) and purge the ones I do not hunt.
Strike while I am not in my right mind.
All prices are shipped USPS Priority, insurance will be extra. From me (I will include a copy of my DL) to your FFL. Payment by USPS MO or personal check. First public I'll take it from someone I don't have on ignore wins. Pics available via text.
I have swapped the sling swivel studs on the Featherweights with stainless versions. Looks better IMO.
1. Winchester 70 Classic Stainless 7mm STW. Synthetic Winchester stock, 26" barrel. Comes with 100 pieces new Remington brass. $1049
2. Winchester 70 Classic Stainless Hill Country Rifles 7mm Dakota. 6 digit rifle. 1XXXXX 24" Lilja #3, 1:9 Twist. Rifle was put together by Hill Country Rifles. Started out as a limited edition stainless laminated. Rifle is bedded into the laminated stock. Did not feed as well as I'd hoped, sent it to Mark Penrod, he squared it away. Sub .5 MOA with 180 Bergers and 150 Ballistic Tips. Comes with 100 once fired Dakota brass and load data. Total round count is under 200. $1399
3. SPF Winchester 70 Classic Stainless Featherweight .308 Winchester. 5 digit SN#. You know how rare these are. Has been hunted, stock has a few marks. $950
4. SPF Winchester 70 Classic Stainless Featherweight .300 Win Mag. Without a doubt the sharpest checkering I've felt on a featherweight stock. 5 digit SN#. This one has a blemish. Thumb print sized slight pitting on top of the barrel where someone neglected to wipe off blood from an elk kill. $725
5. SPF Winchester 70 Classic Stainless Featherweight 7mm WSM. 7 digit SN#, Comes with 100 pieces new Winchester brass. $699
I will list them here first for the Model 70 crowd, then off to gunbroker in a week or two.
