"What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated." Thomas Paine
Truth be told, that color was about my fifth choice. It just happened to be the color of the only truck I could find in my area with the equipment I wanted. Having the equipment I wanted was more important then color. I'm starting to like it better now though!
Take nothing I say personal, remember....it's just the interweb!
The silver Durango behind my truck in the first pic is my wife's 2005 SLT. It also has the Hemi, is all wheel drive, tow package, pretty much loaded. It's probably the smoothest riding vehicle I've ever driven. It's also been the best vehicle I've driven in the snow so far...........we'll see how Big Red does next winter!

I finally got a picture of my truck, though at a distance and with my boat in tow. Not new anymore, got it Thanksgiving weekend and have a bit over 6k on the odo. 2006 25000 quad w/ ctd. Pretty much a base model, which is good as there are less things to go wrong.
Especially with that Hemi... They will run! And drive/ride like a touring car. Off road the factory suppled tires leave a little to be desired in the mud and snow. I'm thinking when I wear my factory rubber out a new set of BFG/AT's might be worthwhile on those 20" wheels for a little more "grab" in the muck, without sacrificing too much of the quiet ride.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
The factory tires suck on snow, I almost got stuck 3 times last winter, and it was embarissingly easy. I'll get chains for next winter, and BFG/AT's when the stock tires wear out.
