FYI, Barrett has postponed production of the Fieldcraft to focus on their DOD commitments. The demand and cost of these rifles will likely go up. This rifle is perfect and I’ll probably regret letting it go but warm walnut and blued steel is calling my name for a change.

Has it ever been shot or is it new?

How did it shoot and with what ammo if so?

I have hunted with it maybe 5 times ( elevated stand) I have a couple of 300+ yard kills on whitetail. I hand load and my go to load was 125 grain Accubond, 55 grains of Varget, around 3150 FPS. Flat shooting , light recoiling and basically point ant shoot to 325 yards ( 200 yard zero). Also, I happened upon a Winchester 150grain Extreme Point cheap ammo that shot 3 at 200 yards that were touching(2920 FPS) . Go figure. The 30-06 just keeps on producing after all these years.
