This trip is something I look forward to every year. Because of the "election infection" the border is closed. SEPAQ Anticosti contacted us and offered a full refund. The downside is that if we took it we would surrender our spot. We opted to let them keep our money and have a spot in 2021. Now all I have to do is live that long.

Man, what a bummer. I know from reading your posts how much you two looked forward to this trip every year. I can't tell you how much I liked reading abot your hunts. Maybe it's a good chance to try something different this year. Good luck with your hunting.

Yeah, we have several friends that run bear with the dogs. I can not believe it, but my wife wants to take a shot at that. She also wants to take some time off and hunt the woods in our own back yard. Step out the back door an hunt. Hunting ANYWHERE is better than not hunting. Hunting NH is NOT even remotely like hunting the island, and she knows that. Thanks all.

So true Steven, the anticipation is often better than the actual event.

That is quite a disappointment. Sorry, I know how much you looked forward to it. The hunt story is one of my favorites too.

I'll miss reading the report for this year, but will stand by eagerly for the 2021 report. I'll also keep my fingers crossed for pics from a successful hunt in the LBK back yard in 2020. Good to know that your spot is safe and sound for 2021. I'm sure they are glad to have you guys.

That just stinks. I always enjoy your post of the hunts. Hopefully the world return to sanity next year and you'll both get your biggest bucks ever.

Sometimes I get down in the dumps with the everyday BS, but you guys, for the most part perfect strangers, take the sting out of a disappointing turn of events. Thanks to each and every one of you.
