Selling a very nice Rem 700 Titanium in the scarce 7mm-08 caliber. The rifle is in OEM, unmolested condition. The bore looks bright and the cosmetics indicate no heavy use in the past. The stock is near-new, with just a couple of spots on the Remington butt pad. Otherwise it's perfect. The barreled action has a few shiny spots that are inevitable when this fine matte-finished stainless rubs up against anything. Not scratches, just shiny spots. There is one small spot of discoloration on the bolt handle, and a little bit of same on the underside of the bolt shroud. Otherwise, the metal is in exceptional condition. These rifles are expensive, so I'm trying to be completely accurate in my assessment. Overall, this is a very nice rifle. The trigger guard is perfect, and this is the part on any 700 that almost always has scratches.
Weight is 5 lbs. 7 ounces. 41.5" long, 22" barrel and 13.5" LOP. The bolt fluting is very nice and shiny with zero scuffing. The recessed target crown is likewise in new condition. The stock is OEM and has not been bedded.
I started to go straight to GB with this one because I'm certain it will go well past $2K in today's market, especially in this caliber. I'm asking $1,900 shipped for this one and believe it's a fair price. At this time I am not cross-posting it. The first public "I'll Take It" followed by a PM to me prevails over any other communication. I can accept several forms of payment. Ships to your FFL from an individual with appropriate ID enclosed. Drop me a PM if you have questions or need additional photos. No trades at this time unless you have a Kimber Superamerica in .22lr you'd like to trade. Thanks for looking.
I’ve got 2 of the poor man’s Ti’s (faux Ti’s for the old campfire crowd). Stainless MR contour 700’s in B&C stocks, and both are absolute tack drivers.
The .243 loves everything - it’s nearly a 1 holer with a bunch of Nugent 80 TTSX 2nds I’ve been running in it.
The second is a 7-08 that liked the first factory load I tried - cheap Hornady Whitetail 139 Interlocks - good whitetail medicine.
I’ve got a fixed 6x42 FX3 LRD ON THE 7-08, and a Kahles 3-9x42 TDS on the .243.
Love both setups. Have killed a trainload of stuff with that .243.
