Let me first say that I am not very religious and that I mean no disrespect to anyone.
Was driving today kinda zoning out. Just random thinking. Along the roads here there were groups with crosses waving and calling attention to Easter I guess.
Got me to thinking about the scenes from Passion of the Christ where Jesus was dragging the cross and how he was tortured because of his ideas and his love for mankind. How he was spoken about and called names and ridiculed. How he stood against corrupt power and wickedness. They hated him and his message so much, they wanted him dead and killed in such a horrific manner as to serve as a warning to others.
You see where I'm going?
Donald Trump is just a man. A man who has sinned and has faults. But I believe he truly loves America. He really does care about others and is standing up against a rigged system full of evil, selfish people who care only about power and control.
In doing this, he is called names, laughed at, ridiculed, investigated and persecuted. He has endured pressure that would have crushed a weaker man. But through it all he has stood tall and firm. He has sacrificed himself to try and save us and America.
Do not take this as me claiming Donald Trump is another Jesus. It just really struck my heart and made me appreciate the things Trump has endured because of his love of America.
God, if your there, please bless President Trump and America. Amen.

Scottf270, I’ve had the same contemplations.
We’ve come to the point in this country where right is wrong and wrong is right.
I don’t believe a truly good man will ever be tolerated in office again, look at the hatred and rebellion directed at Trump.

Scott, I was having similar thoughts today after watching some of the movies like you mentioned.
There are so few like Trump who are willing to sacrifice so much for the good of their fellow citizens and for the country they love. Really doubt we'll ever see another like him. Somehow I feel like we let him down because we were not prepared to give him the help he needed. Or we lacked the courage to do what needed to be done.

I think it is a stretch of the imagination to mention Trump and Jesus in the same breath. While I believe that DJT has been singled out and targeted because of his political views, and such criminals as the Biden family covered up for and their crimes swept under a rug, Trump is not without fault. Jesus, on the other hand, was perfect in every way, and to compare Him to any man that has ever lived, is just plain wrong.

Trump loves traditional capitalism and the social dynamic of the 70's, 80's and 90's much like most of us. He's fighting the globalist's using the so called woke agenda to destroy that and to destroy national sovereignty of all nations. The battle between the two isn't the battle between heaven and hell, it's the battle between freedom and enslavement.
