Been riding 15 days now after simple assembly....just rolled over to 245 miles

Temps been hawt......finish up the daily 15-20 mile loop before 0930

Overall very happy with the $1749 purchase (delivered)

Himiway Zebra...biggest pro's....

20AH battery....26x4" fat tires...rack & fenders..2 yr warranty...hydraulic brakes...7 speed Shimano shifter

Quality fit/finish/paint......Tweaked the power assist modes from 0-5 over to 1-9 which works out much better

With pedal assist the 65-70 mile is about right for my area before a recharge

Best thing is you can adjust the power & gearing as to how much of a workout you want

Ordered a Black Widow M/C carrier...a little over kill for two EBikes...yes adding light kit

Most likely will order a second bike....wife and I can keep more the same riding pace then

I shopped/compared for several days before pulling the trigger.......(:

Thought I would need to spend $2500......until I found the Zebra

They also make the step through (ST) frame but I like the step over style

The seat/saddle ? Great...comfy w/o the need for PB's loaned padded Lycra shorts

Two year warranty....search your area for a dealer...but buy direct from Himiway

Free shipping/no tax

The half twist throttle assist is great....jump on & twist the throttle & go

Then start to pedal..kool bike

Use 'Iversfarm' for $50 discount (video)

Heck yeah brother. Glad to see you enjoying it. That is much better range than I expected. Being able to move quickly and quietly, have you found yourself sneaking up on critters?

That's a whole bunch of nothing ya'll got there. That's impressive if you live where you can't see 100 yards most places. I swear, I sometimes feel like I might as well be in Cambodia, as Alabama in the summer.

Does that thing really weigh close to 80 lbs???

I ride a Santa Cruz Heckler (pre-eBike version) and it weighs a CH under 30 lbs. I understand that the assist on the eBike makes the increased weight less of an issue, but I'm wondering what it's like when you're bombing down a trail and have that much weight taxing the suspension and other parts. So, my question is, how does it ride on technical trails?

[I bought my wife an eBike last year and tried it out...the tech is amazing and I am not anti eBike, just wondering what it's like off road].

Yes............79#

I mainly bought it for the plain ole fun of bike ridin'......and exercise

Running 16 PSI...which seemed like a few too many when I was in the dirt testing it out

I'd call it a happy medium for what it offers at the $1750 price point

The Cobra Pro has full suspension but is also $4K

Which would be better suited for the young buck jock raising hell in the dirt

I'm on the side of wanting an E bike that is basically the weight of an average heavy MTB. The assist being used minimally on hills. I don't like the idea of handling that much weight without assist. If the bike is so heavy as to be unrideable without assist, I would move over to gas power. Yea, gas would be twice as much money but not on the used market and I'm skeptical of long-term cost to maintain VS a good gas engine.

The way Tikka rids and uses it, it may be just the thing. You just got to buy what suits you.
