Here's a new bullet that hasn't even been cataloged or added to the Fury Custom Bullets website yet. Call Dennis directly for pricing and to order them.

I got to perform accuracy, expansion, and penetration tests with this bullet over the last several months. I have been busy balancing a work and family life and just now got to testing these in plastic corrugated boxes filled with textbooks, newspapers, and magazines.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves with these caveats. This is a small sample but I do intend to conduct more tests. MV= muzzle velocity IV= impact velocity
I measured these speeds with a Labradar. The bullet box was 35 yards away from my shooting bench. One fired bullet is somewhat lighter than the others. It was shot into the same hole as one fired before it. It collided and lost some weight. It's hard to sort through the shredded media and pull out small fragments to weigh. Penetration was 10" through hardback Emergency Medicine textbooks with DVDs inside for old-school digital learning.

They were fired in my 360 Buckhammer single shot rifle. 36gr A1680, Fed 215 MLRP, COAL 2.450"

Accuracy has been quite adequate. My load development testing is all done at 50yds. Once I find an accurate load I'll shoot it at 100yds. I had two problems with my rifle this year. First, earlier this year my forend stud broke off and I installed a new one. Rather than welding it on I cut a dovetail and drove it into the slot. When Mike Bellm rechambered it, he noticed the crown wasn't square. I cut a new crown two weeks ago after I got a steady rest for my lathe. Both of these fixes were done after these groups were shot. I need to shoot again to see if the groups size is smaller.

Damn nice, looks like a great bullet for my old Marlin 35 Remington as well, i can say the 40 cal 275gr Fury bonded black tipped bullet fired in a 20 twist T/C 45 cal Omega over 150gr 777 knocked a big doe deer flat at 90 yards this season, in last rib, out off shoulder, dropped so fast i thought i missed, I'm glad that guys around, think he makes some very good bullets, Thanks for the test Dinny.

Gunner,
I killed the biggest buck of my life with a Fury ML bullet this year. I'm a big fan of all his bullets. Maybe next year I'll shoot a deer with one of his 220gr 348 bullets from my Winchester 71.

Take a peak at Maker Bullets for the 35.

Good report. Used a Fury 220gr in my 35 Whelen and it works well. Haven't looked at their site in a while but do they make a 180gr 35 caliber bullet?

It doesn't matter how fast you miss.

Absolutely. He makes 180gr 35 cal bullets in a few different styles. The flat point ones with the large meplat hit very hard. Massive energy dump!

Good deal, that's a hell of a nice buck Dinny, Congratulations, and yes, Dennis takes care of his customers, the bullets i ordered were a little too hard to load with the high pressure sabot i wanted to use, called Dennis, sure, send em back and i'll size em down, sure enough, 10-12 days later i had near 100 bullets sized and ready to load, no charge! smile

Great looking results. I am sticking with powder coated cast in my 35's for a while.
