Need some help..Have been shooting a long time but when it comes to custom stocks I am a novice.
I have a Tikka T3 lite in 7mm RM I want to replace its stock with a ultralight. The form asks for style?? I realize there are different designs but unsure of what they are...
Thanks
If all works as I hope I will restock a couple of Tikka's I have..

I would like a better stock on it, I own five T3 lite's (it will be 6 if I find a deal on a 25-06) and happy with everything but the stock. I like the light weight of the "edge"stocks, I was also looking at the Bell and Carlson stocks since I am very happy with the light weight one on my early model Rem 700 Ti. It has taken the abuse of everyday hunting much better than my Tikka stocks have.

Me thinks your choice will be made by "who will inlet for a T3?"...

Me thinks you're right.....And I'm quite certain it's not McMillan. But I've been wrong many a time before.....

We do not inlet for the T3 at this present time. We may in the near future but right now we are not taking on any new molds/projects to try and get our lead time down.

Just curious, but what kind of lead time are you guys working towards? "Less" is probably the answer, but I wonder what you would like to see.
Now with even more aplomb

When i first started here 4 years ago, the lead time was 3 months. We of course weren't as busy as we are now. But thats still our goal.

I was waiting for someone to point out my thread. I may pay a visit shortly to Ian's shop and fondle a couple of his stocks, particularly that Silhouette one...
