I am offering for sale a very nice Marlin 39A .22 caliber lever action rifle. It was manufactured in the 1980's (I have to re-check exact year). It is in what I consider to be great condition. The metal is all very good with only a few minor imperfections. The wood has a few surface scratches, but no gouges into the wood. On top is a Weaver V7 2.5-7X scope (duplex reticle) with new Weaver base and new tip-off rings. The glass is clear and crisp. The scope tube has some "blemishes" at the eyepiece end -- not rust or scratches, just "stained" bluing. I do not have the rear sight. A blank is in the slot to protect it. I have several photos. The Marlin is still in my safe and I am starting to soften up on the price. If you were teetering on the edge and need a push, shoot me your offer. I would also consider trades. I am looking for one of those heavy-barreled Rem 700's with the laminated stock with the vent holes (Fajen) in any varmint caliber.

Looking for some action this weekend -- on this rifle, that is. Took the 39 out to the range and had no trouble keeping everything in a 1" circle at 25 yds using a can of mixed ammo amassed over the past 20 years.
I would be happy to entertain offers of cash or trades, with or without the scope.
