Bat "H" stainless steel single shot action. Rock 29" 1000 yard contour barrel. Holland's Quick Discharge muzzle brake. McMillan A-5 with adjustable cheek piece, bedded by yours truly. Bat S/S 40 MOA Picatinny base. Seekins high rings. Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 with the NP-R1 reticle. Chambered in 338/300 Ultra, flingin' 300 Sierra or Bergers at 2825, and staying super to over 2000 yards.

Thanks all.
I had bought a different A5 for the build from the specials page, which was a regular 700 inlet, BDL, with a Sendero barrel inlet, because I originally was going to build on a L/A 700. But I switched gears and bought the Bat instead, then found this one with a 700 single shot inlet, ADL, and a 1.250" straight barrel inlet, which was mo better for the action and barrel, and I liked this color mo better as well.
The A5 is a versatile pattern, and works well for most all shooting positions, bench or field.
