Recently purchased but need to free up cash. Didn't even fire it.
Was told it was made for two years only. 25" barrrel, modified choke, less than 5 lbs, ithaca Model 37 Ultra-featherlight. Real good shape overall with just a few minor marks. Unbelievably light and a handsome weapon. Checkered butt, no buttplate. Bottom eject so would be good for left or right handers. Sorry to let it go. $600 + $35 ship.

That is very nice. I have only ever seen one other and that was at a gun auction about 8 months ago. Had a couple scratches in the stock and a scratch in the bluing about 2 inches long just past the end of the forearm. It went for a bit more than what you are asking.

If it looks good, you'll see it
If it sounds good, you'll hear it
If it's marketed right, you'll buy it
But...If it's real, you'll feel it

I modified the ad to state that this shotgun is a bottom eject so would be great for left or right handers, which is in and of itself a great selling point, not withstanding the other fine features of this shotgun. Also has the checkered butt but no pad of any kind. Sold a bunch of other stuff this afternoon, thought this would sell real quick as rare as it is.

If, you were here in Canada, I would grab it for high alpine Blue Grouse, and have wanted one for years.

Yes sir, that is correct. Both this one and my primary 28 gauge SxS just have checkered butts.

Boy I sure miss hunting blue grouse. Haven't seen one in years. Used to run into them often when bowhunting deer and elk in the Oregon Cascades. Big fat butterballs aren't they? I remember running into small bunches of them 6-10 at a time and getting all lathered up trying to get an arrow in one. Thanks for the memories!! smile This gun would be ideal for hiking into the high country or chukar hunting, which is what I bought it for but am not going to be able to try it out.

That is correct, not to pile on, you've obviously not been around many shotguns.

I finally found where it states "mod" on the barrel, so it's modified choke. 13 7/8" or 14" LOP. Thanks for the PM's, all answered. Minor marks means not perfect, it actually has some scratches and minor wear on the sliding parts. Real nice overall, as you can see.

Good move. They are the best little gun for 20 gauge use ever made, IMO.

Great looking family and I would say yes, she is "OK". <GRIN>

Hey, you must go to the same barber as me HA

And good idea on keeping the gun. Some things are hard to replace!!
