Waders joined 10/25/2000 and is member number #24 - I joined 10/31/2000 and am member #30, so my friend Waders gets the ice cream. Wow! You only beat me by 6 1/2 years…

Before signing in here I had been spending a lot of time/energy with one of the very early members - he came on sometime in early 2000 - and he told me a lot of stuff about the place. Some interesting stories and events back then Finally, I took his advice and stepped in. It has been a very good place.

This is by far the most entertaining, informational, and also irritating outdoor forum on the net. I don't know when it started but hope it never ends! That is a great recap... "Self Policing" vs. Mods... is utter genius. Same way America got her start.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.
