Maybe he can catch the ball. 🤪

Speed doesn't always translate to being a good NFL receiver. Look at Troy Williamson, whom the Vikings took with the 7th pick that they got from the Raiders in the Moss trade. (F you Red McCombs)
He could out run most defenders but the ball would bounce off his face mask more often than not. LOL

Looking over the draft today - there are 2 GM's I'd not want to be today.

Atlanta (lol - I get drafting QB and developing him. Not at that spot, not after you did 4 year, 100m guaranteed to Kirk whose gonna suck up all that "cheap QB" time from Penix and then say in 3 years when you go to him - cap sucks and your rookie QB is already 26)

Minnesota (I get it, got your QB maybe but gave up a lot to get the 2nd guy - dude's trading away picks like they don't matter for a team that needs to get better in a lot of places)

Agree and that's on top of all they gave up to get the 23rd pic...

Someone said that MN basically gave up the equivalent of another 1st round selection to get their 2nd guy - total points/value added up. Dunno. I just feel like MN is farther away to be playing the "we need 1 guy - Super Bowl" game.

Also - I'd worry a little about JJ being able to take advantage of Jefferson. You need a QB who can really sling it to get Jefferson's mismatches to pay off. JJ wasn't asked to do that at M, maybe he can but still - I think of him, I think of old school 3 yards rushing, screens, etc. Not a vertical guy.

That is the impression I got as well but admittingly from a very small sample size of watching some YouTube videos. All the "pundits" last night were saying he went to the perfect team because KOC will be able to coach him up.

So we'll see.

I don't think the Vikings Curse has gone away, that I know of. frown

Makes me wonder what the hard chargers who were sure to let everyone know they didn't watch this or any sports did to fight "the man" and reclaim the country.

Reality - they sat on their fat ass with a different flavor bread and circus.

Second and third rounds coming up in a few minutes. Lot's of really great players available.

Lots of players taken from Alabama and the University of TX this year.

First time in a long time Alabama didn’t have a top QB1 prospect.

I hate the Longhorns, but I can’t wait to see how little Arch Manning pans out in the next couple of years.
Will be interested to see if he becomes a future #1 Draft pick. He’s got the Arm & the Genetics! 😬

Titans 1st and 2nd rd picks combined weight is 700 lbs.

One is the D lineman from U of TX who weighed 366 at the combine. Putting him next to our ProBowler D Tackle Simmons should really allow the backend to make plays.

Bears fans are probably drinking more than ever now after their team drafted a QB no. 1 who paints his fingernails.
