Never bedded an action before and will be attempting to. New factory tupperware stock on stainless action. At the very least I'll be doing the recoil lug. Need yall's advice on what compound to use and the best way to go about doing the job

Marine Tex works well too. Available at most hardware stores. Maybe if you live in Florida....I haven't seen it in stores around here. I've used JB weld in a pinch with good results. My favorite compound is Devcon 10110 though..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Have you shot this rifle? My injection-molded stocked 300 WBY shoots 1 3/4 inch 3-shot groups at 300 yards using the factory stock. The zero hasn't changed in 15 years. RF

Try Nathan at "Terminal Ballistic's Research" He has a stabilizing compound for tupperware stocks, and an excellent bedding compound. Both are available as complete kits with very thorough instructions as well as complete video instruction if needed. Very highly recommended.
