On this day in 1968, the "representatives" of The People severely infringed their 2nd Amendment rights by passing the Gun Control Act of 1968.
A reminder to vote for those who will protect, not sever, your Constitutional rights.

The U.S. Gun Control Act of 1968 imported much of its organization, content, and phrasing, from the Nazi Weapons Law of 1938.
The National Firearms Act of 1934 and the subsequent Gun Control Act of 1968 disrupted the historical balance between the American Public and the government.
I've written yet another essay on the subject of gun control if anyone's interested, but it's lengthy.

Owning a firearm stopped being a right with GCA68 and became a privilege given by the Gooberment, if you met their model of who should be allowed to have a gun.
