Does anyone here have any feedback for me on the Leupold FX-II ultralight weight fixes 2x rifle scope?

I’m looking to put this on a very compact bolt action. For 150 yards and in shots.

Last year I whitetail hunted in PA with my Montana .358 win with the FX-II 2.5x20mm lightweight scope and I did not get to shoot a deer with it the 6.5 oz scope worked great out to 300 at the range.

My little thumper .358 weighs only 5lb 4 oz with that scope on it so I glad it's nearly 5 inches of eye relief came in handy.

I've used it on a Guide gun. Lightweight and tough, it works good in that application, lots of eye relief for heavy recoil.

My only complaint is minor, the eyebox is a little tighter than a 1-4X20 VX-2. I suspect the little FX-II will take much more abuse, though.

I've got two, one on a Win 94 AE in .307 Win and one on a Marlin Guide Gun in .450 Marlin. Both have the heavy duplex, which isn't conducive to good groups but I have grown to like it on dedicated timber rifles.

The scopes themselves have held up just fine. No issues with them, but I haven't hunted them real hard or in stupid weather.

I had one on a Contender carbine in 45-70 with never the first problem. I did appreciate the generous eye relief.
