Searched but I can't seem to find the old posting... Thinking A starts in 1947 but aren't some of letters skipped? Can someone get me back on track... Much appreciated - Jeff P

My new 284 is a T, my 99C in 243 is a V. Haven't seen anything later than V but I skim over postmils for the most part.

Just checked my 99C 284 that Les dated at 1972 with the serial number, no LBC.

27Y, 1971 is the highest that I know of. Was a photo of the LBC on a in-the-box, 308-F on AA.

What are the first two numbers then in the LBC - week of that year??? Was looking at a friend's 9I .308 Win. Thinking it looks just like my old 99F with the rear sight base swell in the barrel, same forend shape but was just marked "99" on the front left receiver. Is this still a 99 Featherweight model? Am shamed to not have my copy of Murray memorized wink
