You are correct. It's not a First Amendment issue as it conflicts with the property rights of the owner of the site/event. No one is forced to attend, therefore the property rights trump.
That said, it's not a smart business move to upset your clientele, though I suspect that France & Co. could care less about the fans and cotton only to the sponsors and networks.
