About 1-1.5 years ago I emailed SWFA, and they told me they had zero interest in exporting, due to complications they had in the past when they used to export.
IIRC - wasn't the Chicken given a Navy inventory number or some such thing?
Wonder if ITAR has something to do with it.
The modern SWFA SS is a completely different product from the old Chicken that was considered for a military contract, so that wouldn't apply.
I did all the research and called all the US authorities, and there is nothing stopping SS scopes from leaving the US, except for SWFA's no-export policy...
