Went out yesterday morning with the savage 24. Got one young grey squirrel. Only squirrel I saw. Got it with the 20 ga barrel and a 1 oz load of #6s. With the open sights I just couldn't see it well enuff with my old eyes to get it with the .22, even with my glasses on. Getting old sux...
