When charging cases I zip through them all using a powder measure, checking every 5th or 10th charge on the scale. Then, before going one step further, I use a pen light and visually inspect the powder level in each case. Then I go back and do it again. If I'm using a particularly light charge I'll do it a third time. I'm not anal about much in this life but of this I am. During almost 50 years of handloading I've never had a wreck due to this procedure...knock on wood!
