I doubt we could agree on what this one should sell for. Not many with condition have shown up. This one has been worked over but appears to be correct so it's a nice find and a very fair price.
Bill, serial is 4763 and is in the serial range of the large group of carbines.
4763 is sitting in MY safe. Has been since 2/19/13. And $3000 wouldn't even come CLOSE to buying it. i have TWO letters on it. I don't know what you mean by "worked over". I think someone has their wires crossed. I am holding the gun in my hands as we speak.
